I feel like this is where I differ from a lot of people in S&A.

When I date someone, I look for qualities in that person that I would look for in someone I want to marry. The way I see it, is that dating is basically a trial for marriage. I would never date someone if I thought a future with them was out of the question. I guess that is because I look for and like long term relationships. I never go into a relationship thinking, it's going to be a short one.

What about you guys and girls?

Yeah, most of my friend's don't get why I look for a woman I think would make a good mother. I also look for women I think would be the kind of wife I want. I guess it really depends on how old you are....

It isn't a science. I think that looking for these sorts of things will only become more frequent with age/relationship experience. Once again not a science so a person may never look for it.

Well, I am in my first real relationship and I haven't really thought about that stuff yet. I don't ever want to think I am in a short-term thing but most relationships do end so how can you really think any different.

I can't stay in a relationship that I know I'm going to end in a few months. So I spose I'm the same, but looking for a life partner rather than marriage.
