Basically I've been unemployed for a few months now and I've made a full time job of looking for jobs through the newspaper, personally going into places and Craigslist. After about 30 applications I've come to the conclusion that I need to find some means of $$$$

So unless someone can recommend me something better than the folllowing here are my questions

Anyone have experience with Research firms? I have heard a few stories from friends who participated. One was involved where some were drunk and some weren't and they had police in training come in and attempt to determine who was intoxicated and who wasn't. Another took a pill a few times a week and was studied. Half were placebo half were something else. Both were paid $500+. That is one potential lead.

Another is donating plasma, blood or sperm. Anyone have experience in this? If so what are the requirements and what is the pay like? What is the frequency in which you can donate also?

when ya donate sperm, always remember to ask the nurse for assistance.

They post paid studies on Craigslist, so you could probably hook up through one that way. You should go for those. Potential pix/lulz.

They do extensive background checks for sperm donations. Also drug testing is done for blood, plasma, and sperm donations.

shit so that throws out the idea of getting high before i go in then going and buying heroin with the money.

The thing about sperm donations is the rigorous standards the few men who qualify are set to. Minimum height for one eliminates most.

In New Jersey they don't even pay for blood or sperm donations as far as I could find out so check it out for where you live.

drug testing is not done for blood and plasma, at least nothing that can come back to get you ( i imagine they would test it at a lab and just toss if if it has something they dont want)

anyways to the guy that said you dont get paid for plasma thats not true. i looked up some places in st louis that pay based on your weight.

I donate plasma twice a week. it takes a couple hours and you get paid roughly 30 bucks. no drug test, they do take urine to test your protein levels though. some centers also have special hep B programs were you get a hep B shot and they pay based on antibodies. one of my friends got over 100 in one donation when his levels were abnormally high.

I think everyone should donate even if you dont get paid, you save lives.

My sister used to sell plasma... you have to wake up really early, head to the place, chill with the drunks and crackheads, then take two hours for them to painfully take the blood and push the blood cells back in after having it in a centerfuge(sp?), all for a measly $15-$35.

Steal newspaper stands and bust into vending machines is my best idea.

i doesn't hurt any more than any other needle stick, I just left the plasma center about 10 minutes ago and it is 7 PM here so I didn't have to wake up early. It took me about 2 hours to donate, all of which I just layed on a bed and looked at a TV. I got 35 dollars for this and saved someones life.
