alright i finally got perscribed benzos after 8 months of getting non-controlled substance shit.
i got a low dose of clonazepam .5mgs.
now how much do i have to take to equal one xanax bar?

and yeah i understand its low ass dose.
but i know that next month i see my shrink the dose will be uped. and with a little luck and maybe pity she'll give me xanax.

anyway how many would equal a bar?
and should i just swallow or snort?


o yeah and should i say that i was unaffected by the daily dose?
or say that i felt a difference in anxiety the first daily doses but it took another pill to accomplish the decline in anxiety after the first week and that i still feel anxious?

If you are honest with the doctor about your health problems and he prescribes medication based on what you tell him then no one is lying or taking advantage of the system.

If your doc is a quack and prescribes you 150 10mg percs for a sore throat then i dont expect someone to turn it down. But lying about chronic pain or anxiety to get meds causes a "boy who cried wolf syndrome" in the medical community. This paranoia causes thousands of people every year, including many members of this board, to suffer without the medicine they need. If no one tried to defraud doctors, this needless suffering wouldnt be nearly as common as it is today.

But I've talked to other people who share my views on Kpins, which makes it harder to think it's something unique about me.


The first time I ever did Kpins, I took 3mg sublingually, I was like 16, and I smoked a shit ton of bud with 2 close friends. They kicked in, and I felt pretty chilled out, but I also felt like I didn't want to hang out with them anymore, which was weird, cause that never really happened before. So I make up some bullshit excuse about how my mom made some kind of special dinner and I had to go, and I really enjoyed walking home, meandering all over town on the way. When I got home, I felt the overwhelming desire to whack off () and then watched a movie by myself.

So that was with no tolerance, and I never even felt sleepy...

i faked having anxiety for for about 6 months. and after therapy and the like finally got xanax. they gave me .25s and after a month of having those they gave me .5s, then i got addicted and quit. fuck xanax.

I get a gram of hydrocodone a month, and I've told my doctor they don't help, but she continues to give them to me, and up the dose, despite telling her I don't even WANT opiates, and that even morphine doesn't work.


So I sell them and buy something that actually helps, pot.

This this this ^^^. This really pisses me off. I have legit chronic pain, and after two years of going through SHITTY FUCKING MEDS, I finally got, Oh boy, T3s!!! And not only that, I have to see a counselor, my doctor, doctor has to talk to counselor about my condition, now I have to see a psychiatrist for "at least 3 sessions", and he's 'not very lax with the meds'. Are you fucking kidding me?

I understand the idea of faking shit so you can get meds, but it just pisses me off like you wouldn't believe that most people with legitimate problems have to fuck-dick around because doctors are so paranoid to hand out certain meds. The potency of benzos is not measured by there sedative effects. Xanax has far greater sedative effects then klonopin does, which is why you are passing out of a 2mg bar and is why its perscribed for insomnia. It's also much more effective for panic disorders. Klonopin though is without a doubt a better benzo for its anxiolytic qualities and for its muscle relaxant properties. Somebody who suffers from anxiety all day is going to get alot more relief of 2mgs of klonopin then they will of 2mgs of xanax, due to its better anxioyltic properties and its much longer half life. The point im trying to make is that just because xanax has better sedative qualities then klonopin does not in turn make it a more potent benzo.

So I ask you, how exactly would you measure benzo potentcy?

I'm complaining becasue I was just diagnosed with degenerative disc disease two months ago. It is very very rare to see chronic back pain in people under 50 or so. So, when i first began experiening pain at 17 the doctor thought I was faking it to get pain meds.

This persisted for 4 years. I went through physical therapy, and complained to doctor, after doctor, after doctor, all of whom thought i was faking it to get vicodin or something. Consequently, none of them took my complaints seriously.

No one sent me to get any real tests. No one was willing to presribe me any drugs that would alleviate my pain so that i could walk around without needing to lie down every few hours. All because they though I was faking it.

Then, after 4 years of calling in sick to work every couple weeks becasue i couldnt get out of bed, I found a doctor who finally gave some credit to my complaint, probably because i was finally 21 and in college. He ordered an MRI and prescribed pain medication. The MRI showed my problem right away, and i was able to work out a treatment plan with my specialists that has actually been working.

I'm complaining because its your fault that i spent 4 years in constant pain. You and everyone like you who lies to doctors and makes them untrusting of their patients. If you selfish bastards would just stop lying and fucking people over then no one would have to go through that.

I guess I was measuring potency in terms of sedating-ness, and definitely not for anxiety. I didn't even have anxiety issues the last time I tried kpins, so I'm basing all of this off of how sleepy a given dose would make me feel.

the only way i would be hurting someone was if the doctor found out that i was abusing the meds or that i pretended to have the same symptoms that benzos are the cure for in order to accomplish a high.
right now my doctor thinks this is just another drug that i will try to end my anxiety. she has gone through a long list of anti depressant/ anti anxiety medicines and now has turned to the category of drugs called benzos to see if they will have a positive effect on me.

i would be hurting people if she found out that i was fucked up the 1st week from abusing them or some shit.

i eventually sold my pills and got weed anyway so maybe i even helped someone with anxiety by doing so.

I've always had horrendous chronic anxiety. My doctor has proscribed me busparone for years, 60 mg twice daily...they do nothing. To curb my chronic anxiety, I use adderall or vyvanze during the day with smoking the occaisional ciggarette or bowl of dank and then I drink a fifth of five o clock and smoke some weed at night to go to sleep...its people like you that are faking anxiety that are making people like me suffer, because my doctor won't presribe me benzos, even though I have a family history of chronic anxiety...I live in MI, tha'ts prolly why, if I lived back in CO like where my fam still is I 'd get medical weed:o

Worrying about mid terms coming up will give you 'anxiety', but it is completley different to be afraid to leave your house everyday or carrying around a bottle of xanax and klonopin with you because you know your day is going to be complete shit without them. I was diagnosed clinically depressed / with an anxiety disorder months ago. (They hint at Bipolar, but they haven't come right out and said that I have it, I don't think they want to for some reason. Bipolar does run in my family so I wouldn't be suprised if thats it) They started me off with 10mg of Sertraline a day, which didn't do shit to me. And now they're up to 50mg of the same bullshit that still doesn't do shit and leaves me with the same feelings that I had without taking any Rx's for it.

I feel like there's an impending doom looming over my head, and I can't control it, since I can't control it I get pissed off at the world because of it and snap.

Sertraline doesn't do shit for me. And its probably going to be another few months before I can get some shit so I can actually function properly. Because as it is, I can't get work done, focus, I feel like I'm going to die / something catastrophic is going to happen every few minutes, and I'm just pissed off at the world because of it. I probably should look into going to a Therapist.

My friend got 1mg of klnopin after going to his doctor because of withdrawals from oxycodon. I still don't know how he pulled it off but he can get any types of pills he wants, because they're all at his house. It's how i get free pills from him all the time.

It take about two milligrams of Alprazolam to equal out to one xanax bar. Clonazepam on the other hand i a different drug. So, your question is irrelevant. But, fear not. In my humble pharmacology student opinion, Clonazepam is stronger than Alprazolam. Get 4 or 6 and let them dissolve under your tongue. Mhhh... pasty mint. Of course I have quite a tolerance, so maybe start with two.

I think most of you guys just need better psychiatrists. About two-thirds of the quacks I've encountered in my life have been basically eager to throw prescriptions at me as soon as I flashed the insurance card. I've only ever had ONE doctor flat-out deny me, and that was because he was one of those "addiction specialists", which I wish I would've been aware of prior to making that appointment. Had another one refuse to prescribe me alprazolam because it was "addictive", so he instead scripted me to 6 mg Klonopin/day with two 10 mg Valiums to use PRN. Not that that makes any sense (diazepam PRN) but whatever.

Or just find a shrink as crooked as mine and you'll be set and loaded for years to come...
