Default Countdown timer -->BOOM! how?

In electronics shop (im in high school) im making a countdown timer and i want it to be able to light something, like a bottle rocket. Does anyone know the programming to go into a PICmicrocontroller that would create an extremely hot short circuit focused enough to light a fuse??
