So I was wondering about Purple Drank. Why is it so popular with southern rappers. Not too long ago Pimp C overdosed on it. You never see Lil Wayne without a cup of it in his hand. I've never done Purple Drank but I've done just Codeine. Of all the opiates, its definitely the least fun. So why aren't all these rappers doing Oxy or Opium, or even Heroin instead?? Does adding Promethazine make that much of a difference?

Obviously they think if its a liquid opiate then its completely acceptable, but if its a pill that is snorted or popped they aren't so supportive of it.

Tussionex is a drank i wouldn't mind having though. Hydrocodone syrup is where its at, but fuck that when there is also Methadose (liquid methadone) and Oxydose or Oxyfast (liquid oxycodone). mmm those are the good dranks.

Yeah that's what I figured. Thanks for replying to a new arrival by the way. In what situations do they prescribe you liquid Hydrocodone and Oxycodone anyway? I know plenty of people with those pills, but no one with it in syrup form.

being a houston resident i think its just an easy to get , good tasting chill good opiate high , without going all-out with heroin etc.. whether or not promethazine is included is also important. Anyways we just like to lean of that dank and the good ole drank . And RIP Pimp, Moe ,Robert Earl Davis, and John Hawkins. i know at least two of them were on lean when they died.. :(

Shit when I used prometh/codiene I just used it for the phenergan for nausea or i would use it to get to sleep at medicinal doses. I would not want to take high doses of prometh but for some reason it works as a really great sedative for me at thearupeutic doses. Feels much better than the otc antihistamines. I am not saying it is recreational at all and even when I use antihistamines with opiates all it has done was increase the sedative effects and make me feel more noddy. In my opinion the codiene doseage is just way too low per ml and you would have to take way too much prometh to get a rec dose of codiene.

How would that waste it? If its IR Oxy, then there's no reason why it would be wasted if you crushed it into a fine powder and dissolved it into a shot of soda or something, right?

This shit is a fucking RIP OFF. All my idiot friends say that they get a buzz of it, but i looked at the ingredients and its only melatonin and valerian root. FUCK THAT SHIT. At the very least get the real drank, codeine and promethazine.

To the poster that asked about making liquid oxy/hydro; yes, it is possible.

Crush up the Oxy IR, or other opiod, and put it into soda, juice, etc. Stir it so that all the powder will finely dissolve and increase solubility. Then just drink it or slam it, which ever you choose. ALTHOUGH, be sure to refill the glass because I'm sure some oxy residue will be left either on the bottom or on the sides of the glass.
