so, a while ago i took some triple c's and was watching frank zappas son, dwezil zappa play some jazz fusion.

w/out realizing it, i drifted off to sleep. i woke up the next morning and did not know i was even asleep until i opened my eyes and assessed the situation.

it was almost as if my brain had shut down in an instant for sleep, and kept the last thing i saw as a "still frame".

another good way to explain it is to think of it like this:
if fell into a cryogenics freezer and was frozen in an instant before i even knew i was in the freezer, and when i came out the situation i was previously in "thawed" and i realized what happened. like futurama

i hope that makes since, its hard to explain.

(also, i am not saying that i went to sleep and woke up and it seemed that i had a whole nights sleep, but felt that it only lasted a few minuets. its more like i had no idea i was asleep until i woke up...)

Yeah but it never happened to me on dex...I never can fall asleep on DXM. It happened to me while i was coming down off some e.

Something similar happened to me about a year ago. I've always been afraid that it was a seizure or something. I was sitting on my bed listening to the radio and then the next thing I knew, it was suddenly like one hour later but I didn't open my eyes or close them or anything.

At least I don't think I did. At that time a knew for sure that I didn't OPEN them.

Seriously though man dont take Triple Cs. I wouldnt suggest DXM in general, but if you're going to do it then take robotussin or robogells (the robotussin gel caps). Thats the only medicine that contains only DXM. That way you're not ingesting any other unnecessary chemicals that could have negative side effects.

If you're unable to get tussin or robogels for any reason (pharmacy sold out etc.) then pretty much any other cold medicine with DXM in it is better than CCCs. Avoid guaifenasen as well, as that will cause severe nausea at high doses.

It only happened when I took 2 zolpidems and 3 percs at the same time. It was lame too, I woke up right at the end of a show I wanted to watch.
