This is an awkward but fucking great situation at the same time. I've been dating this girl for 6 months now and to tell you the truth she has two moms. Her real mom was artificially inseminated so my gf has no idea who her dad is. Her other mom is one of the coolest people I've ever met and she got me a job working for her over the summer helping remodel houses. K I just needed to say that so you know what I'm dealing with here.

Well over the summer her mom who I was working for sold me a bag of weed. She buys me and my girlfriend liquor sometimes too which is great. Well the other night I was with my girlfriend at her house and her moms had the jack daniels out and we were all taking some shots and just watching TV and cooking dinner and shit like that. Well after a while we all end up outside for a cigarette and her mom who I worked for lights up a big fat fucking blunt. I was shocked.

So anyways I smoked it with my girlfriend and her moms and these 2 other people from NY they had visiting and I feel like a fucking idiot now. I feel like I made myself look like a god damn drug fiend. Not because I smoked with them but because while we were smoking I started rambling on about drugs I've done and spouting off all this random knowledge about drugs in general. I wasn't trying to impress them or anything with what I know, it was more just a drunken rant and I think I got a little too comfortable with the whole situation.

I feel like I made myself look like a drug fiend which I'm not anymore. But they know I used to be so this whole thing is really embarrassing. They have a lot of respect for me and trust me a lot and I really don't want to lose that.

This is something thats been bugging me for a few days now and I just feel like some outside insight would be nice. And I just needed to get that off my chest. Btw anyone else ever by drugs off their girlfriends/boyfriends parents? Was it awkward? Can you sympathize?

Have they been treating you differently since?

I say if they don't act different towards you then nothing's really the matter. Just keep smoking weed with her and her mom. :)

Second of all I had a boyfriend in high school that his mom would smoke weed with us all the time. I thought it was cool at first but honestly after a few months of it I found it kind of creepy and weird and didn't like it anymore.

Now as an adult (ahem) I gotta say, it's just weird. :p Don't get me wrong, I can enjoy some mind altering substances just like anyone else, but I don't see enjoying them with my kid's significant other. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Haha yeah and its funny too because the one who is her real mom is a well known doctor in my area and she has a reputation to uphold which I think is funny seeing as how i was hitting a blunt she had just passed to me. She doesn't smoke a lot but when she does she sure as hell knows what shes doing lol.

I know what kind of situation you are talking about, I tend to do that with school friends a lot. People are always shocked that I am smart and I used to smoke a lot of pot (among other things).

Seriously though, just keep an eye open for any changes in their behavior, and if you notice them make it clear, through your actions, that you no longer do a plethora of drugs (even if you, just keep it on the downlow and act like a cool, well behaved, well mannered kid).

Or just go with the foursome.

If they don't treat you differently pretend it never happened and just move on. If they start treating you a bit weird then you might want to play it off and tell them you were acting stupid the other day and apologize or something.
