I think what Meta was trying to say when he said that "there is no such thing as homemade acid" is that while there are clandestine, illegal labs set up to produce the stuff, it's not something a hobbyist would do. You need a wealth of chemistry knowledge and a good lab setup, two things most home cooks don't have.

Wow, I couldn't agree more, I made a thread about properly dosing RC's by using water, and methods of getting it into pre dosed capsules... as soon as I made it... it was closed, I didn't even get to LOOK at my own thread before it was closed... and it was legit! Then when I tried to re-post it for I had thought it got deleted by accident. So I made it again and was banned for a week.
