So I just picked up a half ounce sack of some really dank looking bud for $100. I know that sounds like a ripoff, but it looks and smells really good. And I think it might be some kind of purp like purple haze or kush cuz I see a decent of blackish purple grains or w/e u call it. Do u think it could be purp. And, how much would u pay for a half ounce of purp. And just to make sure I got all 14 g's, I will tell u that I filled up bout 43 pretty decent size bowls in my pipe. So how much g's do u think it is?

that sounds roughly like a half, but you cant be sure without weighing it. and 100 bucks isn't bad if it is a half and looks dank, but just by looking at it you can't tell the strain. you need to know the grower for that. just because it looks dank doesn't mean that it is, you need to try it to tell. but it doesn't sound like you got ripped off.

Just make a ghetto scale with simple stuff like cups, branches, yardsticks, string, paperclips, etc. I'm guessing there are many variations on this, pick the plan you think will work best. I seem to remember the Improvised Munitions Handbook having a set of instructions like this.

Alternatively, go to the head shop and blow a whole five bucks on one of their super-cheap scales. Nothing digital, I'm talking about the ones that just look like a weight attached to a chain.

If you're too cheap and/or lazy to even put in that much effort, find a friend who has a scale. Pack your bowl as you would normally pack it, then have your friend weigh it for you. Weigh a joint or blunt too if you want. Then use that to calculate the weight of all your bags.

These methods are not the most accurate, but it's better to have a close estimation of the weight of your sack instead of just guessing.
Other than that you'll just have to trust your dealer. I'm sure he weighs the stuff out just right every time.

Ask if you can watch him put it on the scale next time. Most dealers at least extend you that courtesy.

i doubt you got a half of nugz for 100. around here FRIEND prices are 150 for a half. sounds like you did get some decent weed though. my advice is buy some digital off the web so you know you got a good deal.
