Women Appreciating Women
All you beautiful ladies of totse are welcome. Men your input is not needed.
Something has been brought to my attention. Why do we need men to tell us how sexy we are? We'll blush and giggle if a man says he wants to fuck us but inside it makes us feel good about ourselves. Why can't we just feel comfortable with who we are? To feel like a sexy woman you must first think you are a sexy woman.
I had a problem last week where my boyfriend was no longer interested in sex and it made me feel unattractive and undesirable. The real cause was something completely different but I couldn't help feeling the way I did. Now I realize men should not have such a substantial impact on my self esteem.
So here we are. This thread is about women uplifting women. I feel women's compliments are more genuine. So post of pic or share your insecurities. We're all here to help each other out.

Re: Women Appreciating Women
Women's compliments are far from genuine. In fact, they are the epitome of anti-genuinity.
Frankly, I haven't seen a female that has friends that would not compliment her, no matter how unattractive she actually is.
When I see this happen, it makes me think "Damn, if I was an unattractive female, I'd take those 'compliments' as an insult and they will no longer be my friends".

Isn't that the truth! Women need men to make themselves feel good, that's just the way things are...

Re: Women Appreciating Women
yeah female compliments of females are so godamn insincere. it's extremely easy for everyone to see but girls just pretend like "oh no you are more pretty i wish i had your (random feature)!"
it is genuine at times but usually it makes me want to retch listening to it

See you ignorant female, I was right all along, it's all fake. Unless when the chicks are actually hot, but that's such a rare thing.
Also, a woman's compliment is of no value to you at all at all. She has no idea of what is sexually attractive... I mean if a chick were to tell me I was hot, I'd be like sweet, chicks think I'm hot, that increases my odds of getting sex from one.
If a dude says I'm hot, it's like... Yeah, well, that's like, your opinion man. Useless.

Re: Women Appreciating Women
I think it depends on the person. Yeah, a lot of chicks will say every girl is hot (unless they hate them). There are tons of guys that will take a girl who's a 5 and talk her up like she's a 10 just to get in her pants.
I've been lucky enough to find some pretty honest girl friends. Like if one of us gained weight someone would point it out. Then we would make plans to excersize/diet together or something.

Well this thread is filled with feminazi bullshit.
Getting a compliment is nice regardless of who it's from. Getting a compliment in a sexual way is even better.
And if you felt bad because your boyfriend didn't feel like having sex it's your own fault. Not everyone is like that, if my partner wasn't in the mood I'd ask them why, not instantly feel unattractive.

If you read the thread I made before you'd know that I had talked to him several times about the lack of sex. And I wasn't suggesting every woman feels the way I do. I just thought it was sad that three girls in the photo thread said they'd feel better with a sexual comment from a man. I thought some women could relate.
Also I realized that the thread sounded feminist and I've never been like this before. I'm just tired of men acting like I'm some piece of meat instead of complimenting me on what really matters. I just found out my boss hired me for my ass instead of my experience or intelligence. So excuse me for being a little irritated.

Thank god for common sense.
I'm sure there are groups of female friends who constantly give meaningless "you're so pretty" remarks to eachother.
But aside from that, most girls don't bother commenting on another's appearance unless a positive feature really strikes them. If the compliment is somewhat specific, it's probably genuine.
Also, compliments from other females are not going to be threatening or manipulative- i.e., they're made without first looking you up and down and wanting something from you.

There's nothing wrong with being a feminist. I'm a feminist. I called you a feminazi, which is a feminist who shits all over males.
Saying that a compliment from a female is worth more then a compliment from a male is bullshit. And yes, that is what you appear to be inferring in this thread.
What would be more accurate though, would be to say "a compliment from someone who is not sexually attracted to you is worth more then someone who is sexually attracted to you because it is unbiased".
And you'd be surprised how many men you talk to in the day are not sexually attracted to you, and how many women are.

Honey you wrote what I couldn't express. You're completely right and I realize now how I've been coming across. It's not men in general and I'd like to retract my previous comments.

Everyone's biased in their attractions. I would use the word "unmotivated." Yeah, I know guys who can give a compliment to a girl without trying to hit on her or define her worth in terms of her sexuality, but comments from these guys do not make up the majority of remarks a female hears everyday- and certainly not on the internet.
I don't think being attracted to someone or not is really the issue- it's the purpose behind it.
In most places, the underlying purpose behind compliments from females will generally be less sleazy.

This.
ripstick, instead of going and trying to team up with other women so you can bitch about your boyfriend and your problems with him, how about you just accept that you love him, he loves you and you both need eachother to feel happy. Simple as that.
The only thing you're going to accomplish by saying you don't need him to feel good is you're going to push him away to make room for you new feminist ideology. Just stop with this "We don't need men! Women can be happy without them! " shit. All it does is show that you feel insecure and need help.

Fight the power, conquer the patriachy!
Its simple, unless you're a bi or lesbian, the opinion of another women's preference has no impact in your attractiveness to a potential mate.
We all have our insecurities, but generally as a guy, as long as you aren't fat/retarded looking whats in your head comes first before your body.

Re: Women Appreciating Women
Interesting how the thread starter inadvertently demonstrates exactly what modern feminism really is: nothing but a minority group of currently unsatisfied women WHINING and TELLING other women how they should act. The fact that these women actually have power in politics, in the media and in court is a dangerous and omnipresent anomaly that is ruining western civilization in ways that I couldn't possibly adequately summarize in a short totse post. Luckily, stuffing a cock in a feminist's mouth is a rather effective way of ridding her of her poisonous ideologies.
As for the topic of this thread, fuck off with your bullshit. Male attention is your life blood. You can't live without it. Look what happens when you lose it for a day or two. You go nuts and start posting shitty threads on totse.
As for your boss hiring you for your ass (and to comply with affirmative action, you should add), get used to it sweetheart. It's one of the unspoken rules of the workforce. If your boss had wanted to hire someone for their brain or their ability to get shit done, he would have hired a man.

Re: Women Appreciating Women
I enjoy any SINCERE compliment.
I don't care if it's a man or a woman, young or old, fat, skinny, hot, loser, whatever. It's flattering to know someone finds you attractive.
I think the point being though that it's not all that flattering to know that some men are on high alert that I have a vagina and will say anything to get to it.
Like a previous poster said, though, not every man you meet wants to get to your vagina and some men can genuinely appreciate beauty in a non-sexual way.
Those are the best compliments! :D

It's the society we have been raised in. This is a patriarchy. Ever since the dawn of man, women have been raised and taught to depend on a man, for everything. Only up until the past 100 years or so have women been able to break out from this. But you will still find that most women, like their female ancestors feel that they need a man in their life to make them who they are, they feel that if there is no man present in their life they are useless.

I know just as many men that think they need a woman (or at least readily available sex partner) in their life to be happy as I do women that need a man. I think it's human nature, not anything specific to females.
As a matter of fact I have a good friend that told me if he could just get a new girlfriend he'd be so much happier with his life in general.

Why do people come to totse expecting to get serious advice. No offense to totse, but have you seen the people that post on here....? Its not a majority but a minority. So your hearing from a small small sliver of kids who camp on their computers all day, the ones who may or may not care about what your talking about here......
And its nature babe, men/women go together, maybe if your in cali you can find your females uplifting females. As if they dont fucking already i hear girls giving other girls compliments more than some chump ass dude saying his shit.
Next time come to the table with a non "this is not true, im denying natures rules" attitude.

Attention ripstick:
You are fucking hot. You could have any guy you want, and you still choose to be with your boyfriend, who is obviously a dipshit and can't appreciate you for who you are and HOW MUCH effort you put into the relationship.
You go out of your way to please him, physically and emotionally, and all he does is treat you like shit and say tactless things to you.
I'm going to get uber flamage for this, but I say if he makes you angry enough to try and get affection from other females AND be pissed off at males in general, just dump the cunt.

Re: Women Appreciating Women
Hey ripstick, I've learned a thing or two in my day. Once is that you can't really trust any compliment. I've been looking back on pictures of myself when I was in like grade 10/11, and I'm like 'Holy fuck, I was an ugly kid. Why did I even go out in public?' But you know, I didn't know just how fucked up and totally retarded I actually was, because everybody's a doll, especially my friends, and nobody had the testicals to say anything that might crush my lil spirit.
Then I realised that I wasn't getting as much hot sex as I wanted so I umm did alot of blow and started doing my hair and I didn't dress like I was from the dumpster.
Now I'm gettin tight young boys all the time (gonna bang my mexican this weekend), yo, and the amount of sexual attention I get is a far more accurate measure of how attractive I actually am that compliments from my friends and family, who are total babes and the sweetest people I know, but who don't really steer me towards self improvement.

ok it might be just me but why the fuck would any woman be impressed with a man who says to her 'i want to fuck you' isnt that slightly vulgar even maybe offensive?
if a girl said that to me i'd lose interest straight away and i wouldnt dream of saying that to someone unless i was already in bed with them :D
OP i think a male's compliment if anything might be slightly more true simply because a man is a better judge of a womans beauty unless the woman is gay .
anyway think im gona try the 'i wanna fuck you' line from now on lol seems to work with some of you lol :p
