So all I have left for opiates is 5 mg's of methadone. The bad: I don't expect to feel anything from it. The good: I am hoping 5 mg's will still be enough to keep away withdrawals for a good 24 hours.

My tolerance is fairly high, although recently it dropped a bit due to a hiatus from using oxycontin and switching to extremely low suboxone doses to get me through the day. Anyways my tolerance before cessation of oxy was to the point of 100 mg's being needed to produce a good, warm and fuzzy, opiate buzz. After recently acquiring an 80 mg oxycontin, of which I railed 40 mg's (Saturday night) which resulted in a buzz as strong as what I usually achieved using 100 mg's 2 weeks prior.

I am assuming my tolerance is still fairly low, I finished off the 80 in a 20 mg dose Sunday night and another 20 mg dose this morning.

I plan on taking the 5 mg's of methadone tomorrow morning upon waking up. What can I expect as far as keeping away withdrawals go? Will it leave me satisfied and able to function for at least 24 hours? (Maybe more? Maybe less?) Any info/personal experiences = appreciated.

Crush and mix with a little water and plug it, Your withdrawals will obviously continue but it should ease the pains a little tops hour or two though. Order some kratom and buy a shitload of loperamide those alone should walk you through the WD's. Best of luck.

No enema kit, plus I'm not experienced in plugging and cant risk the possibility of losing any of the methadone. However I will crush it before swallowing it.

I would think even a low dose of methadone to an opiate tolerant individual would still produce relief of withdrawals, just no high, maybe I'm wrong.

Anyways, as far as Loperamide goes, basically I couldn't consume enough physically to have any significant amount cross the bbb, which would render it worthless right? Apparently when coated in polysorbate 80, it acts more like an opiod, with minor analgesic properties, and is very short acting.

As for Kratom, might give it a try

Is it coincidence or irony that just earlier today I had 5mg of methadone left? So I popped it and ate a darvocet and it got me good all day and it's been about 7hrs since I did that, but I only handle about 20mg of methadone at a time so you might want to take tolerance into consideration.

Haha, well I have 3 darvocet's however they suck so much balls that ingestion of them might turn me gay.

you dont need and enema kit to plug pills. Just crush it, put it in as little water as you can to absorb it, put the solution in a syringe (minus the needle) push it about 2-3 inches up and inject. Its virtually impossible to fuck up or lose any. (I havnt looked up the bioavailability of this method for m'done, check scholarly articles for peak plasma concentrations and duration)

Swallowing will work. And you're using methadone which has a very long half life, so its perfect for holding off withdrawls. As to whether 5mg will be enough for you, I'm not sure. But even if it doesnt keep you completely well, you'll feel better with it than without it.

Loperamide only crosses the BBB when it is infused into nano-particles. This is way way way beyond the best junkie science. Unless you have a degree in some form of chemistry and a very very nice lab, dont even think about it.

Im not sure about kratom. I've taken it and it feels like opiates, but im not sure about its potential to hold off WDs.

Good luck, man. Opiate dependence is the hardest job a man can have. If you can I would suggest taking this opportunity to detox. Now that your dose is down you're already on a good taper, and if you only need 20mg oxy to stay well then you WDs wont be too bad. Maybe take your done (or just sell it) and just dont take any more after that until you're no longer dependant.

Yeah, I dealt with the w/d's before I acquired the last 80... they weren't the worst I've experienced. I could detox, hell I could hit up the methadone clinic, but really, I want to keep doing opiates, I'm only counting on this methadone because I have no constant source for opes right now, and am short of money till pay day on friday.

I wasn't suggesting I'd try to fix up the loperamide so it would work as an opiod, just throwing it out there as to further check its validity to the claims fuckbiscuit made.

Anyways, thanks for the goodluck's and what not, opiod dependence is a bitch, but she's a bitch I invited into my own house, bought her some flowers, and now she won't fucking leave, but in a strange way I don't want her to go.

what you should learn from this is to have a supply of about 50 mgs methadone to keep in a situation like this where you are void of finding opiates and/or paying for them.
