Is it possible to buy the seeds in a store? I need a little help with this...Anyone??

I heard that they're found in some health food/bulk shops but I have personally never tried buying them. Also, it probably depends on where you live.

Other than that, this thread is relevant to my interests. I too have been meaning to try making poppy seed tea.

Yup. you can buy them at any grocery store across the nation.

Some of the larger chains or more popular brands will wash them more throughly or do other processes that make it harder to get high off em.

Yeah, you can get them at health/organic type stores, that's where I got them when I tried it. It was like 3$ for like 500g.

Take a look at them when you buy, you want the ones that look as organic and unwashed as possible, with alot of poppy straw and other stuff in there (this is how mine were). Because youre just basically making a tea out of what's ON the seeds, not IN them.

I've heard that hispanic bulk stores have the best opiate to seed ratio, since mexicans are dirty and all ya know. But yeah a farmer's market sounds like a very good place to get cheap poppy seeds.

dont buy them from grocery stores, i bought a 150g pack from coles, washed it with boiled water, drank the water, and even took up eating the seeds (which wernt as bad as people bitch about) nothing...

You want the pods, not the seeds.

The seeds don't contain any opiate goodness, they might only get you high if a little bit of the pod is stuck to them.

Thus, buy the poppy pods.

Like everyone else has said, get seeds in bulk from a health food store/farmers market, and try to get organic seeds ;)

But on the whole, pods are better...just orders some from ebay, grind 'em up and throw 'em in some yogurt or ice cream, or make tea.

Nope, the seeds do work. When I moved to FL, I didn't have any opiate connects, and I was an oxy addict. The seed tea is all I had for a month or two, and it was the only way I could get on airplanes.

No, I said they don't contain any opiates, the only way to get high from them is if a bit of the pod sticks to the outside, thus they are very weak.

About 80% of your high was probably placebo.

from what i understand they have nothing on their own. but since they're inside of the pod initially, they get smothered in poppy goodness. so ebay+poppy pod is better, but the seeds work fine too. just be careful if you don't have any sort of tolerance; they're hard as hell to gauge.
