since when does ritalin gel up? at least i've never seen them gel up. maybe it's concerta you're getting?
anyway, look at the pill, is it powdery like you think it would crush, or does it look like it has a layer like concerta does.
without a proper description of the pill it's impossible to tell, but i'm willing to bet that none of the focalins gel up
