Default Potential codeine potentiator

One evening of random Wikipedia browsing (5 minutes ago) I noticed that codeine is metabolized by CYP2D6.
I also noticed that Piperidine is a CYP2D6 inducer. For those that don't know what Piperidine is, its a naturally occuring substance found in Pepper. Funny thing, there's so much Pepper in everyone's house, such a simple idea, yet I haven't seen a flood of threads concerning this. I did find a rather technical thread, lots of chemistry, regarding a conversion of Piperidine to something else and something to do with morphine... but why have an entire lab dedicated to this? Just put a crapload of Pepper on your favourite dish and blend some codeine into it.
Anyone have any input?
If not then you're welcome.

It can be if you like it as much as I do. I'd eat pepper with Tabasco and Wasabi. I might even use that as stuffing for a Jalapeno pepper.

Perhaps... I think I just have too many endorphins to waste as I started enjoying drugs at a later age then most people in this forum.

hhmmmmm...
you have intruiged me good sir
Im gonna INVESTIGATE this as soon as I get my tramadol (its metabolized by the exact same set of enzymes as codeine)

Unless it INDUCES the enzyme you'll probably end up wasting codeine.

Found something coincidentally while browsing one of my favorite sites regarding your pepper idea. Read it up.

I'll be doing more research into this myself, as the prospects are quite fascinating. :D

Having extracted purish piperine, I would not put that in my mouth, a tiny amount of residue, scraped up using a metal ruler, still caused my mouth to be on fire when I, for some unknown reason, licked the thing several months later. I never went on to convert to piperidine, but its not too hard, and I'm not sure if it has the same effect on ones taste buds.

I'm pretty sure you can buy pure piperine at health food shops, but again, mixing that in with a line/gel cap of codeine would not be a good idea...

Good thing split personalities don't actually exist or I wouldn't have suspected more than one person using your account one bit.
