Re: prescribed meds
Hah, good luck! I had rolandic epilepsy for eight years, which caused a subluxation in my vertebrae. I never got anything for the horrible back pain it caused during my teen years. You are 16, keep dreaming.

Re: prescribed meds
on the chance you do get somthin, it really depends on the dr. you get.
chances are youll get nothing. maybe some high dose ibuprofin. the most id expect in your case is some tramadol.

This ^. I've had a constant headache (literally everyday now) for about two years. It took about a year for one of my doctors to prescribe me bupropion (not very recreational, but certainly better then some of the other shit I was tried on). Had a seizure on that so they took me off it. Then was off that medicine, headaches came back, worse then before, and FINALLY got just shitty t3s. So I really doubt they're going to give you any pain meds seeing that you're under 18.
Most of the time I've found, you have to go through a lot of shit to get any good meds because the doctor's trying to figure out what's wrong, not just how to numb the pain. So you'll probably have to go through bullshit like MRI, physical therapy, shit like that.

Re: prescribed meds
you'll obviously get like a high dose of ibuprofen to begin with, but if you persist and go with it long enough saying it hurts so much it's almost unbearable, you'll eventually get what you need, they can't deny you medication you need, no matter what any of you says.
my doctor in fact has a list of rules and regulations in his waiting room, and i have seen them in ER rooms and you have the RIGHT to proper treatment of pain.

Re: prescribed meds
I was prescribed two 40 pill refills of 10mg hydros for a surgery that kept me in the hospital for less than 24 hours. It all depends on your doctor brah

you have the RIGHT to proper treatment of pain.
they decide what medication you need, and the proper treatment of your pain. you dont have much of a say, except complaining till they take the next step

exactly, its not going to happen immediately, but if you just keep complaining and complaining and they have no reason to suspect you of lying they'll eventually have you on fentanyl patches.

Re: prescribed meds
back injuries usually get muscle relaxers, you probably won't get a recreational opiate, especially since you are 16.
