So its my friend's first time doing acid, i gave him a tab and he had it in for about an hour or so then swallowed it, this is probably going to sound absurd but how long do you guys usually keep a tab in your tongue or in your gums? I usually just take them and leave them for hours, makes no difference to me.

Dude it doesn't matter at all. You could swallow them almost immediately and have the same effects.

LSD is readily absorbed through the skin. The sublingual route is always an excellent choice for these compounds, not to mention if you just swallow the tab it will come in to contact with the hydrochloric acid in your stomach, and in case you didn't know, LSD+halogen ions=no moar LSD. Yes, of course you still trip, but I've done self trials with a known blotter of a known potency and there was a huge difference in the trip, which is normal anyway, but the swallowed doses were much less potent.

Oh that makes sense. It must absorb pretty quickly in the mouth then I'm guessing because I have never noticed a difference in the strength of a trip whether I just let it sit under my tongue for a second and then swallow it, or whether I let the tab sit for half an hour.
