Ying and yang. Girls generally aren't confident in them selves so confidence in one's self is something they look for in their partners.

Also confidence is a sign of masculinity and runs hand in hand with dominance, other traits females search for in their doodz.

It's not really wasting your time providing you get shit done and have fun. Beating the fear of rejection is the first step in becoming confident. The more you try, and fail, the less it will get to you and eventually you'll have no problem approaching people and you'll perfect it. Good luck.

Yes and no. There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Also, guys who have "confidence" but jack shit to back it up with end up just looking like idiots.

But when they say "confidence", they are assuming you have something to be confident about. Personally, I prefer to know my place, be honest, and be myself. Yeah, being cocky could probably get me places, but I don't like to be.

I thought this was common sense for most people. It's not that hard to see. Ya know.. like how the shy hunched over emo kids don't tend to have a lot of friends or get laid. But the people who hold their head up high and actually take interest in people and talk to others with a sense of self worth... DO.

I think girls will like it if you're confident and persistent, too.

Like say, you're in a fight with a guy twice your size and instead of backing out you say "Fuck yeah I don't care if I get fistraped, I'm going to get a hit in! :"

I think girls would see some kind of value in that.

The only way you're going gain some confidence in yourself, is if you be who you are. What Chichi said may be true for some girls, but not all.

You need to be happy with who you are before others/girls can be, confidence comes off when you're talking to others and is a generally like-able trait. My point is, don't try and be someone you're not to impress others, it never works.

What I mean is, you don't have to be CAPABLE to be confident, you know? Girls will find you attractive just for trying. You can fail miserably, but if you try the girl will still like it better.
