Default Skin Graft

So I've got a 3rd degree burn on my ankle and its pretty bad. I've been to 2 different hospitals and both suggested a surgical consult with a plastic surgeon. They also gave me 20 Tylenol with codeine which haven't done shit for me :-/. Anyway odds are i'm going to get a skin graft my question is, what kind of pain meds might i get after for recovery?

Anyone who has any burn experience/skin grafting experience i would really appreciate any impute you could give me on this whole situation.

Damn, sorry to hear that.

Anyway, i'm guessing that the minimum would be percocet.
A good chance you might get a low dose Oxy script, maybe something like 10mg tabs.
Be prepared to get Norcos (10/325 hydrocodone/APAP) though.

I would say take something like 90mg of that Codeine you have + a Benadryl,
smoke a bowl or two 45 minutes later if you smoke weed and lay down with your foot elevated.

Peace.

I had a graft taken from my pallet (roof of the mouth) and got jack shit for it, not even any strong ibuprofen.

well its now infected went to see the doc a few days ago and have 2 types of antibiotics to take but they wouldn't give me any meds even though its too painful to eat with, they just said to keep taking ibuprofen+paracetamol?

thinking about CWE'n some codeine, not happy :(

so on that note, be gratefull if you get anything, I guess it depends on how big the graft is.

And the doctor. Some doctors hate to give out pain meds and will avoid it at all costs, others give them out like candy, most probably fit somewhere inbetween.
