So i was breakin up the bud (some decent shit not mids or anything nasty) and i get to the stem and see a little orange thing, i break the sem open and its a fucking worm! As soon as I got home I looked around for info on the things but got all sorts of different ideas. Can anyone give me the facts?

i guess the only fact there is, is that you've found a worm in your bud. was it alive? i doubt it but if it was i wouldn't smoke that shit.

I've encountered these several times. Usually in the fall, right after harvest, and I believe that they are parasites. I am pretty sure those little fuckers are eating your pot.

Its a THC worm and they usually only show up in mids or schwagg. I got one once and I was told to smoke it but i just threw it out. A friends brother told me he smoked one once and supposedly the worm is filled with THC. I dont know if this is true or not

So far, Ive only ever found them inside of the stem, never crawling through the nug or anything like that just at the base of the stem. biggest one ive seen is only maybe 2 or 3 cm long

You do feel a little high if you smoke a bowl full of stems, which I have unfortunately done numerous times when desperate or bored.

i did that with g 13 stems and everclear o i was fucked upp

They are little "worms" if you could even call them that, more like maggots. They are bright orange and I've found them in a few different bags that i have gotten. The people i got the weed from acted like it was nothing too out of the ordinary, and my friend said to smoke it so we did. Whether or not it has thc in it or not i dont know, but it didnt taste to bad, pretty good actually real strong weed taste.

My goodness, I am yet to find a worm in any of my pot, and I smoke and buy/sell a lot of home grown "cornfield" pot.

My girlfriends father grew a few plants this year and I was nice enough to trim it all for him. All I found in there was a snail shell. Within more than 2 lbs. of pot, all I found was 1 snail shell and to me that is sort of impressive, I have broken open a bud and had a lady bug fall out of it... it is sad how dirty weed actually can be... homegrown mostly, but I have found some weird things in hydro, like LOTS of red fibers (maybe they used red yarn to hold up the plants) but whenever I find odd shit in my weed it really bums me out, I cant really just pick through it and hope im not smoking dirt... but I usually just sell it if there is weird shit in it.
