I'm right back where I started
I begun doing drugs to find understanding in my life and the life around me, but being sober for about 3 months now I have my answers.
Funny how that worked out.

Re: I'm right back where I started
uh....well, the answer is that there IS no "answer", no final conclusion on life. theres always something else to find out, further boundaries to explore....there are an infinite number of possibilities in this impossible existance called "reality" ... well, at least IMO. and never forget, the many people on this planet all have many differing opinions, views, and philosophy's, that they view as concrete truth in reality. so there is no "true" answer, reality is subjective, and haveagooddaysir kthxbai

Re: I'm right back where I started
To OP: Have you done LSD? I can't believe that you've done acid and not found something significant in your life. It completely changed my perspective. I used to be a very pessimistic nihilist, believing in nothing but science and finding life completely uninteresting. Yet, while doing LSD, I saw the world for what it is: a beautiful orgy of colors and sounds and smells, the sunset a blurry smear of every color I never imagined, the detail on every object more intricate and profound than I ever realized, the bond between fellow humans so deep that it brings tears.
I'm now an optimistic nihilist: believing in nothing and embracing the beauty of it all.
Sorry if that's a bit lame... I'm absolutely shitfaced.

Re: I'm right back where I started
Sleepin' by yourself at night can make you feel alone
Your girlfriend said so
But I don't really know
That don't mean we fucked around
That night last week when you left town
Tweakin' by myself one night that's when I wrote this tune
Didn't have no need for that bed in my hotel room
Sometimes right now, since I've left the pen
Feels like I'm right back there again
Sometimes I pray
Waiting, waiting for some bright holiday (holiday)
So I bought myself a gun
And I'm right back, right back where I'm from
Sleepin' by yourself at night can make you feel alone
My girfriend said so, she's a little ho
That don't mean I fuck around
I like to keep that higher ground
Sometimes I pray
Waiting, waiting for some bright holiday (holiday)
So I bought myself a gun
And I'm right back, right back where I'm from
(Don't tease me, ohhh)
Sometimes I pray
Waiting, waiting for some bright holiday (holiday)
So I bought myself a gun
Now I'm right back, right back where I'm from

I had this long ass response written, but I decided to say fuck it, so here's what I'm gonna say instead. I found that some people can live like that, without drugs, and they feel fine, I found that I feel like shit, I feel better when I smoke weed, do some nice opiates, or whatever, and I realized that I'd rather allow myself moments to feel good then to just feel like shit all the time. We're all different man, and my body just doesn't agree with daily living while sober. And just one last thing, before I started doing drugs, I still felt like shit, it's just gotten progressively worse. So yea, that's about it, just thought I should add this side to it or whatever.
Oh yea, to get to the actual point, to the OP, some people just don't need drugs to be introspective or find their answers. However, some can DEFINITELY help you out, usually psychedelics. But believe me, you might not think you got the answers but if you drop some good fuckin' acid, and you have a good trip, you will DEFINITELY learn something about yourself and the world.
Don't give up, the path to enlightenment isn't a nicely paved road, it's a fucked up backwards path through the forest.

Yea man, you get what I'm tryin' to say. Like it doesn't even matter if school isn't as good as it could be because you're just high and feeling good most of the time. I mean, there's probably some flaws in my logic, but it's like, I came to the realization that happiness, whether caused by a drug or fucking going shopping, it's still fake, it's just chemicals being released/re-uptaked/whatever. I don't know, I'm just sick of people who don't like drugs/try to get you to stop, for all the wrong reasons.

How can you define happiness as fake because it is chemically induced? Fucking everything is chemically induced you hallucinatory motherfucker.

That's what I'm saying. Like I get the difference between doing something not involving drugs that makes you happy and all that, but they're still similar in some ways. I'm just saying that if watching TV makes you happy, and smoking weed makes you happy, then what's the difference? And don't take this too literally, I'm being VERY general.
