Somebody I know smokes black tar probably 10 times a day while I'm in the same room probably 2 feet away from him, windows and door closed, some ventilation. I have no problem with this, and I even like the caramel-ish smell that it lets off. I was just wondering if I should be concerned at all for this, or if I should just let it happen.

I dont think second hand smoke from tar would effect you that much because most of it usually gets absorbed in. Atleast for me.
