ultram. a waste of time?
i have a very high tolerance to opiates. i take 6-10 norco ten mg easily. i also IV oxy or morphine. i do not get high every day though. to prevent getting dope sick when the town is dry. when i cant find any opiates it seems like this one dude i know always has ultram. are they worth buying? do you get high from them? i always thought they were useless but now that i found totse i see people posting about them on here. please someone help me out on this. if they do give you a buzz how many does it take? or are they just completely a waste of time and money?

Re: ultram. a waste of time?
If someone who is opite naive takes them they'll get a little spacey. But with any kind of tolerance they'll hardly do anything. I have a very small tolerance (40mg of hydrocodone e day) and ultram doesnt help my pain at all. It does dull my thinking a little bit though, thats why i try not to take too much of them if i have to do anything.
They are good potenators, however. When i take them with a better opiate I only need 1/2 - 2/3 of my usual dose.

Re: ultram. a waste of time?
I don't have too much experience with ultram, but I have heard that some people use it to wean off opiates or whatever. But as far as getting you where you wanna be, it probably won't do shit. But like I said, I guess if your town is dry and you just need some opes, it might be worth a shot. Someone else should correct me if I'm wrong though.

Re: ultram. a waste of time?
I personally like Ultram. About 3 or 4 is chill enough, but then again, I don't have a huge fucking opiate tolerance.
I'd say they're kind of like a low-ish dose of hydrocodone.

This, but they don't nod you out and they last longer, I actually find Tramadol quite awesome. But why don't you just stick with oxy?

123. On occasion they've nodded me out, but it didn't quite feel the same as nodding out on some of the other options available.

Yes, there is an air of stimulation for me when I take low-ish doses, but I only notice cause I don't find it hard to walk, talk, etc.

So basically nothing? ;)

Whenever Ive take enough Tramadol to feel good, I get incredible nausea after it wears off. I usually throw up from it, so I don't take it anymore. Even at a dollar a piece, its not worth it.

Yeah. I've always called Tramadol bulimia-in-a-pill because when I come down, I'm usually puking up everything I put in my mouth for a good few hours... which really sucks when dry mouth sets in. >_>
So, I just sip on water and don't eat anything if I take enough to make me nauseous :D
Usually I stick to about 150-200mg though and I don't get too awful sick.

Re: ultram. a waste of time?
Tramadol certainly isn't a waste of time. Obviously it effects everyone differently, but for me it gives you a very very nice high. Not as potent as something like vicodin, but the high lasts longer.
I've had several back surgeries in the last few years, and have been on everything from vicodin, morphine, oxycodone, codeine, and tramadol..and tramadol works wonders, I actually love it more than any other pill. I'm not saying it is the best for killing pain, but I just love the feeling, it gives you that opiate buzz, but doesn't wear off as quickly as other pills.
Keep in mind when I got into taking it for recreational purposes I had been off the more potent opiates for a while and had just been occasionally taking codeine, so I didn't have a high opiate tolerance at the time. Still, I can verify tramadol can be very very fun.
As for people getting sick when they come down, that is a sign that you're taking too much. Even lowering your dose by half a pill can make the difference between getting sick or not. I'd say beginners need to start out at around 200mg, if you get sick adjust your dosage accordingly. Of course you'll eventually build a tolerance, but I wouldn't go past taking around 400-450mg. Also, definitely always try to eat something when you take that pills, that has been a practice of mine with any opiate for years now.
