Am I really his friend? Yes. Do I really want to be his friend? Not really. Not saying that I'm a mean cunt who can't accept people. It's moreso that being around him too long will turn me into a person that I don't want to be. The person I used to be.

I had a friend almost exactly like this. I eventually just blocked him out of my life. Shit happens, people grow apart. Don't bother trying to change him just slowly distance yourself.

Wow I have a 'friend' just like this. He's a nice guy and everything, but he's fucking retardedly annoying. And he does what your friend does, takes every mildly funny thing and blows it out of proportion, ultimately making it unfunny.

I used to hate his fucking guts but my girlfriend is friends with him so I've been doing my best not to hate him. But fucks sakes he makes me want to kick some teeth in.

And asking him to stop doesn't work either.

The other day he starts singing this song he always sings about niggers picking cotton that he wrote. It's not fucking funny at all. It's stupid and immature and annoying and I don't tolerate racism. He's like laughing his ass off and singing it louder and louder trying to get our attention and we're all clearly ignoring him. Finally my friend is like "Dude seriously just shut the fuck up." and he's just like "THIS SONG IS SO FUNNY" and keeps going.

And he shows up unannounced and never leaves.


The fucking weird part is, he gets so many chicks. They break up with him after like a week but he always bangs them. I don't fucking get it.

I'm kind of in the same situation with my cousin. Him and I have been friends pretty much since birth and now he lives in the same town as me but he's really weird now and nobody really likes him because he kinda creeps girls out and says awkward things a lot. I try not to be too harsh on him about it but it just seems like he'll never get it. I hear people ALL THE TIME telling me "man your cousin is weird dude I cant believe your related to him." And It's hard to deal with this kids like a brother to me but he's just kinda fuckin weird.

This. I actually just read an article about how to break up with a friend. It said that you should just be honest with them. But that seems too harsh to me. If I don't want to be friends with someone, I'll just always make excuses to not hang out with them or not answer their calls. Which isn't very nice either, but atleast you don't have to say "I don't like you, leave me alone." They get the hint eventually.

Well besides being a lonely kid in the first place, if he meets a girl for the first time and he even somewhat thinks she's hot he'll pressure her for her number and try to get her to hang out with him and come off as really weird. When I first got him to start smoking pot he would go around school and brag about how "high" he got over the weekend to try and somehow impress girls.

He says dumb shit and he can make the most relaxed situations really awkward. I don't really know how to deal with him either, I don't think it'll work (as someone said earlier) to just act like he does and then he'll somehow "get it." He's just kind of socially inept at heart it seems and I feel bad for him because he says a lot of things to people that aren't true to try and impress them somehow I'm guessing and then ends up in situations where he can't necessarily refute what he lied about and ends up looking like a fucking dumbass.

I don't really know what to do about it.

The thing is is everyone fucking hates him. But my girlfriend and my exgirlfriend (who is now one of my best friends) used to live with him so even though they bitch about him all the time they still invite him to come along places.

My other friends don't even bother to pretend they like him. One time I had them over to his place and they stole his mom's hand lotions, a meat cleaver, a steak from his fucking fridge and his super expensive phone. And who knows what else.
