Nicotine Gum
Has anyone chewed nicotine gum like the type that is meant to be used for quitting smoking?
It's energizing and I really like it. Too bad it's too fucking expensive for me to buy.

ok, from that statement id guess your around 14-16ish.
first off, thats about the worst way to get nicotine. get some chew if you want a real buzz.
if you cant afford it, why are you chewing it in the first place? steal it off a parent or what?
and btw, there are/were (a few weeks ago) offers from glaxo to get free commit lozenges & nicorette white ice gum (google it, i dont feel like finding a link)

Re: Nicotine Gum
I tried the gum, and I couldn't get it to stay lit. So I tried the patch and I couldn't get it to roll very well.

Re: Nicotine Gum
Haha it doesn't do anything for me. My mom bought it to get me to quit after about 2 years and to be honest as I'm chewing it at school I'm still thinking about a damn cigarette. I don't get that calming effect or anything, if you want a buzz then yea, put a chaw in. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with this shit, unless you're really trying to quit or you're a kidiot.

"There's a reason they call it dope."
Albeit, not marijuana, but still. Made me think of that.

I am 17.
I can't buy chewing tobacco so there you go.
Also, I don't really do it regularly but I've had samples of it before that have been given away for free at public places. However, I once considered buying it but when I went to check out the prices it was like the price of three or four packs of cigarettes for the equivalent of something like one pack.
Anyway, I was just saying that it was just a pretty nice feeling.

I hear Chantix costs an arm and a leg, too.
How come no one bothers with Zyban/Wellbutrin anymore? Works wonders for some.

Re: Nicotine Gum
nicotine gum an patches cost a shit ton. just about as much as a pack a day would cost a regular smoker.
besides who would want to use gum or patches? none of the cool kids can see you smoking if you use those

haha hard to tell if that was real or satire.

Wheres the parody ad:
"Have you ever wanted to look cool and sophisticated but were worried that cigarettes are damaging to your health? Now you can get all the benefits of cigarettes without any of the bad things! Introducing.. e-cigarettes..."
(although it looks like these actually give you nicotine, easily corrected I'm sure)
