I used to have this problem all the time with xanax (not so much with most other benzo's since they have longer half-lives) and I would take more and that's the last thing I remember. I would end up redosing on xanax about 2 or 3 times usually, but there was never any memory of it. Instead of getting amnesia, redose on valium or something similar.

You took an anti-anxiety pill, it wore off, what'd you expect?

I ended up doing that when I got a hold of a good amount of xanax. And it's bad because I have anxiety issues anyways, so I'd come down from it and it'd just get even fuckin worse, so I'd end up taking more and shit. I can definitely see how people get addicted to benzos, even though I didn't even get "high" from 'em. When I mixed it with some opiates however, heh, not that was a different story.

But yea, I realize this is probably irrelevant by now, but to the OP, just for next time, either plan on having something else to chill you out when you come down off it (like some booze, sedatives, other benzos, opiates, any downers really, or shit, maybe even uppers?) or, keep re-dosing until you go to bed, or just relax and mellow out and fall asleep.

Or one last suggestion, take however much you want to, make sure you have some extra, and as soon as you start coming down, take a little more, and keep doing this a couple times. A kind of "weaning off" process. Seems like a waste of time, but you'll probably be happier afterwards compared to if you didn't.

Call your parents at 3 am and confess your most embarassing of sexual habits.

Stop being a fucking pussy and just go to sleep. If you have problems 'coming down' off xanax, I seriously recommend never touching ANY type of stimulant ever in your lifetime.
