well, i know you can fry just about anything, but could you fry shrooms and eat them and still get fucked up? or would the frying process somehow "neutralize" the chemicals? i dont really like onions, but i like onion rings a lot. and so i was thinking this would be fucking awesome if it worked and tasted good.

like with shroom tea, obviously the chemicals leave the shrooms, which is why the tea fucks you up. and i dont want to drink grease and so im thinking if it works the same way as tea, maybe theirs a way to "seal" the chemicals in with something.

I like powdering them. You can mix them with just about anything and the taste will be overpowered.

As far as I know, the active chemicals would be broken down by the heat and they wouldn't work as well, or not at all.

Well you are right boy, you CAN fry just about anything, just the question comes into mind of will you eat it or not? I fried a fucking brownie tonight, dude. Perhaps making a liquid batter/dough for your shrooms so the dont burn as badly. If you want to go pussy about it you could also try steaming them.

It's certainly not a pleasant taste, but it's bearable. I've only had them twice and eaten them straight without food/drink and I'd have no problem doing it again.

Amanita Muscaria tastes worse IMO. And those would be the only "shrooms" you could cook and still get fucked up off of, although I don't recommend it..

If you absolutely can't stand the taste, for some bizarre reason, then either make a tea, or find a dipping sauce.

If you grow then give it a try and batter up some fresh shrooms they probaly won't be active but i bet they would taste good :D:D

Dip them in some salad dressing. I eat them raw but ranch dressing pretty much eliminates any bad taste.

When their dried they taste kinda like sunflower seeds

This. They really don't taste bad at all. In fact I quite like the taste of shrooms. I feel indoor grown shrooms taste just as good as pizza mushrooms. Never eaten field grown mushies before so I can't say the same.

For the taste I reccomend putting them in a blender with ice cream and milk and make a shroom shake.
