Well I can't disagree but I should maybe mention that he's badly diabetic and is supposed to jack up insulin several times a day. This means that food is actually more of a life or death matter than for a 'normal' teenager so I lend him money for food if I have non spare in the house that day (which tends to be most days as I try and buy so we don't waste too much).

Since knowing this girl however he has suddenly started paying back money I lend him, he pays me as soon as he gets his check and before he goes drinking.

Actually far as totse is concerned it'd be fine for them to have their own accounts. We have several people/couples who share IP's. I'd just be sensible and inform the admins of the fact beforehand.

The rule is that one person doesn't have two active accounts and yes normally we check that by running the IP's among other things. But there are cases where two accounts have the same IP's-like whe you post from school or a library or, as said, people who live together.

I don't think it's wrong that 15 year old is having sex with a 19 year old because I am christian, it is more around the fact that age difference and maturity levels at that age are far greater than they are between a 28 year old dating a 24 year old.

So who your kids sleep with isn't their affair, but their right to choose is. That sounds very suspect to me. I can see giving your opinion but painting such a black and white picture in something that is as abstract as the moral standing like abortion is repugnant.

She's only a minor because thats what the law and society dictates, but abortion is killing a child. How are they at all similar in the slightest?

I don't know about where you are but most civilised countries you pull that plug without a court order then you'll be tried for murder (manslaughter if you're lucky).

They only pull the plug only if there is a Living Will (and not even always then) and if , for example, brain death is certified etc etc. If there is even the remotes chance the person may recover-even if they will remain a tofu burger for the rest of their lives then the plug won't be pulled. They have an absolute right to life.

They certainly don't pull the plug because some girl who was too stupid to use contraceptives can't be bothered to give up her Friday nights at the pub.

Nor can they pull the plug because their parents or partner don't feel able to cope with caring for a veg.

I don't disagree jack, but as for these veggie people<soylent green anyone?>, would you really confine them to a life of just sitting there, unable to move, eat, deficate, or see anything without assistance? Being trapped in a body you can't use, only having your thoughts that won't ever be able to escape your mind? There are things worse than death, and this would be one of them to me.

I would never abandon her. Even if she became a crazed religious nut and bombed a bunch of abortion clinics or joined a cult or became a gorilla poacher. I'd be angry and disappointed with her and I would wonder what the hell I did wrong in raising her, but I would never leave her.
