A few months ago I introduced some friends and they ended up hooking up. Thing is she thought he was much older than he was. He was 19 and she was 27 (in his defense he did look a fair bit older). Any way, when we'd bag her and poke fun at her she'd just be like "Meh, it was just a bit of fun with a young stud" and all the girls her age would just laugh and say she got a toy boy.

But say I was 27 and hooked up with a 19 year old girl, those same girls would get all uppity and moral and it would take a tornado to get the sand out of their sandy vaginas.

Can some one explain why it's okay for women to go for much younger guys?

Actually... I was catching up with an old friend from high school (female) and she mentioned her older brother who's about 30. Apparently at one point during the past year he had a 19 year old girlfriend.
I couldn't help it, I just blurted it straight out
"Wow... I just gained a hell of a lot of respect for your brother"

The look she gave me near turned me to stone.

Huh? Nineteen is "Adult". More than an eighteen year old is. Why would any sensible person rag on anyone under thirty being with someone that age? Sure, people do change a lot from 19 > 25. It's not like going from 13 > 17 though.

People of 18/19 do even get married/live together & have kids on purpose. While some consider that still a bit young? It is legal for them to do it.

Of course...while those same women, when they were 19, would have denied that they were still young & naive? Looking back at themselves they would be hard pressed not to diss their younger selves. You'd practically have to make them put up $10,000 bonds that would be forfeit if they were ever caught doing so. :p

I think it pays though for dudes to remember that women who are from 17.5/18 > to 22/23 have a certain inner fire that is overly attractive. Their beauty is powerful & confusing. They are going to change a lot before they are 25. They probably will be dissing their younger selves when they're 25. How could it be otherwise? Whatever kind of person they are: they don't have the experience of living as an adult.

Just like a 9 year old of any sort hasn't lived as a teen. Is going through puberty any more of a strange change than leaving home & paying your own way? Or even still living at home, but doing adult things?

It's not really a double standard. Sexual success is always more accepted by the same sex. You're a player or a slut to the opposite sex, unless you follow a strict social guideline that is obviously idealistically flawed. Fuck whoever you like, but just be aware of consequences if you break laws.
