i have a buddy who snorts xanax from time to time, and swears by it. ordinarily i would toss that up to placebo, but he is an experienced drug user, and i dont see him as the type to fall for that brand of 13 year old placebo high

Well I ordered about 100 Xanax, 100 Ativan and 100 Clonopin from an online pharmacy and put them in a little box. I ran out of xanax first, and I'm nearly out of Ativan. I still have heaps of Clonopin left. I do occasionally take one, but only when I really need anxiety relief. There are too many better drugs out there.

Also Clonopin makes me aggressive and makes me steal when I am coming off it. It lasts a day or two also, too long for me.

Most benzos are not very soluble at all in water, so although you can snort them, the main effect you feel is from swallowing the ensuing drip.

Certain benzos are very water soluble (Midazolam, Lorazepam) and can be shot and snorted. However, the bioavailability difference isn't really huge enough to bother.... although midazolam is nice.......

Just eat your fucking benzos, or better yet dissolve them sublingually and then wash em' down. Speaking of, I just booted a half-gram and ate some k-pins :) :)

And I happen to like Klonopin. Not only does the fact that it builds up cummulatively in your system to best help anxiety kick ass, but I think its more pleasant than the ativan. Actually, I think the only things I would pick over it benzo-wise would be xanax and valium.

And OP, BLTC has satisfactorily established over the past few years that benzos can indeed be snorted effectively, though it's probably not worth the trouble.

To each their own. Clonazepam is a fine drug in its own right.

I think lipid (fat) solubility has to be addressed when considering snorting drugs, but I only ever tried snorting anything once - Xanax - and it fucked up my nose seriously. I don't know if it worked or not.

Im sorry you got something else than klonopin, because it does not last 2 days....of course you didnt mention on the dosage so if you took..6 milligrams over the period of one day..I could see how it could LINGER but the inital effect does not last two days.

This, except for the fact that I like klonopin alot better then valium and xanax(close, but xanax's short half life doesnt do it justice except for panic attacks).

And Issue, for the record, klonopin is the shit. Just because you dont like the long half-life doesnt mean that others dont like to indulge in it. As you said, to each and his own

in my early dats i snorted xannies from time to time it works.

I prefer to snort them since I am so sensitive to benzos in the first place. I can titrate doses and move up accordingly MUCH easier.

I agree about klonopin's fucking you up' for days after words. I'm completely sober, but for the next day or two I'm super pissed off and depressed. It's really aggravating. >_<

And I believe, as a previous poster had mentioned, that even though most benzos have a fairly poor water solubility, they are moderately soluble in lipids, and so insufflation works. I believe that it's about equally effective for most benzos as eating them though, so the only real benefit would be quicker onset.

I have to agree with people saying that you CAN snort xanax, but it's just not as good. I had a shitload of xannies at this one point and I tried out a few different ways of taking 'em. I found that the sublingual route is the best. It's you faster and a little harder, even though they taste bitter as shit, but they don't last as long (xanax don't last for me that long anyways). But as far as railing 'em goes, it is definitely not as strong as taking it sublingually at least for me. I've found that railing every pill that comes your way is just not logical.

I also had an incident with dope and benzos. What results ensued turned me blue, knocked me out cold and made me piss my pants.

I woke up in a hospital.

i'd have to agree with SN its easier to dose. its only worth it really though if you have few/little benzos and wanna get the most out of them, if you have an ample supply than chomp away...

I never understood why people thought that sublingual benzos works so much better then just eating the fucking little bastards. Maybe for klonopin because it takes a little while, but for a fast acting benzo like valium ativan or xanax you are going to feel it within a couple minutes anyway; just not worth it IMO

And for the record, valium tastes pretty much the same as klonopins(mint, sugarry like), depending on the ones you get though. Some of the generics taste nothing like the Roche's
