Default tobacco- cigarettes vs water filtration

how effective do you guys thing water filtration (like a standard hand held bubbler) is at "cleaning" the smoke? does nicotine get absorbed into the water?

im asking because i need to cut back on smoking because of the health risks and i was wondering if switching from cigs to a small amount of cigarette tobacco through a metal bubbler would be worth it

i know it does filter out some things, like some tar, particulates, and a few carcinogens, but does anyone know about nicotine/other chemicals?

also, does anyone know why cig tobacco through water would taste worse than unfiltered cigs? because it does.

if you only want nicotine i suggest the nicotine patch... As for the taste? It's cooled down and your able to taste more than just heat and such...

ive chewed the gum before. i love the act of smoking (probably because i just quit smoking pot).

so i would like to continue to smoke, although make it as relatively "healthy" as possible

A metal bubbler???!!! WTF, mate?

Nicotine is half the fun of smoking or more. Nicotine is water soluble. You arent receiving nicotine from the bubbler. Whats the point?

it will save you a lot of money on tobbacco, I smoke a pack a day and when I switched to pipe tobbacco a pack of tops lasted me about a week. but I dont reccomend smoking weed out of the same pipe. plus cleaning tobbacco resin is a bitch and a half.

its actually like a hand held hookah with a rubber hose and a metal downpipe. but surely ALL of the nicotine cant be absorbed, can it? and yeah, it saves a ton of money. and i wouldnt even think about using the same pipe for pot

You are supposed to sneak people buckets or gravity bongs full of tobacco. They see it brewing yellow and think its going to be a good one.

It's not really that difficult... You just need to break the oral fixation and then it's nothing at all to quit. I just dropped them like nothing about a month ago after smoking for a little over a decade. I must admit I do feel a little empty without that greasy feeling in my lungs.

kind of a fucked up but semi funny story my sister was telling me....

They were doing hits off the gravity bong and they call up this kid they decided to mess with, i have no idea why.... but they gut a newport out and pack it into the bowl and add a tiny amount of bud on top to cover up the tobacco.... kid take a gravity bong of newport, and then turns green and starts to puke.....

I know!:(

Yay

then your going to be smoking nigger-poor varieties of cigarettes..... Wild Horses, an off brand of an off brand at $1.60 a pack.....

and your tune will change, the lungs get enough tar in them and that will change.....

i have been smoking for a bit more than a year now.... i was recently up to a pack a day but lately im down to about half a pack....

after a few weeks the only time you will get much more than feeling like you don't need a cigarette is when you for some reason haven't smoked one for a while.... smoked a couple after work last night around midnight, came home and stayed up till 4, slept until 1:30 and dragged my ass out of bed to smoke a cigarette..... for some reason i got more of a buzz off that 1 cigarette than i have had in a long time....

and to those saying nicotine is water soluble.... what if you were to freebase it? lets make nicocrack.... bit of ammonia to freebase, and it is no longer water soluble....

Freebase nicotine is already in ciggs. It's something like 27x stronger/more addictive that regular nicotine.
