Default Something I never got..

I know women like older men. They're more mature, blah blah. Regardless of the fact that they'll usually cheat on them with a young irresponsible kid.

What I can't understand is why every fucking ad I read has a 20-ish girl looking for this and that. And then she finishes it off with 20-40 only.

And I'm like WTF?!

In almost every instance I've seen, no woman seeks a younger guy, and a lot of them even skip their own age and go straight for 5-10 years older. I mean, if you're 20, I can understand wanting a guy who's maybe 25, but why 35 or 40? What can a 35 year old man offer you except boredom?

I don't ever want to grow old and be a 35 year old man, because I can't see me being old and stable as desirable qualities. Maybe in a car, but not in a boyfriend. I know you're gonna say "look at it from a marriage/child rearing standpoint" but still, I want my life to be full of adventure, and if I was a 20 year old girl I'd be doing all sorts of stupid shit, not trying to get hitched to a 40 year old.

I could understand when we were in high school and all the girls dated college guys. They had cars, usually their own place, and they were "cool". But this? FFS!

Does anyone else find it crazy?

If the girl just wants sex, she wants an experienced guy who knows how to pleasure her.

If she wants a husband, she wants security, at that age you're generally financially capable and have a stable life. A girl wants financial security but will probably cheat on him because she wants sex with people her own age/who are fun.

not true about the sex part of above. I am 21..with a 31 y/o man been with him since I was 18 *cough cough*. sex wise, I have always been with guys at least 5 years older ..for the most part. If I had sex with someone my age/a little younger it was purely for the fun of being the older more sexually experienced.

I would never be with someone any younger than 8 yrs older than me. But hey maybe im just the odd one out?

Money and someone who won't leave them for someone else.

But then why don't I go after ugly fat chicks? They won't leave me for someone else, and yet I'd much rather go for the challenge and try and pull the 11/10.

Maybe they want a guy who is already well-established and with money, who they can can marry and be supported by, but who will likely drop dead a few decades before them, leaving them with loads of cash. Maybe.

Actually, I don't think a 20 something girl really knows what she wants. She might think that she wants an older, emotionally mature and finacially stable, when in fact she's still most drawn to the younger, "wilder" men...it's possible.

I personally don't dig older men. I mean, they are old...hence, gross. I prefer guys 8 to 10 years younger than me. Boyish charm, smooth tight bodies...whats not to like?

I'm guessing most normal 20yo girls don't put out ads or use dating services...

Just saying, you're looking at a skewed subset of the young woman crowd.

Yeah, but what 20 year old wants to think about a father and a husband? Especially given how late women and men are getting hitched and having kids in our society.

Dude shut off your competition mode. That shit barely happens(or from what ive seen). The only time i seen any age difference was girls in highschool going out with guys in college..thats about it..dont see anything else.

Usually its guys 20-25 hitting on 17-18yr old girls cause that's all their game will allow for. Now i see that more times than none.

My boyfriend is 8 years older than me. I'm 18, he's 26. I prefer older guys 'cause yeah, they're more mature and responsible, but also because I find I can connect better with older guys and have intelligent conversations, whilst most guys my age are usually .. well, from my experience, immature.

Some girls are money grubbing whores.

Older men are usually established, done with school and secure in their job, with their homes, cars etc.

It's usually a financial reason though I guess some just like the emotional maturity and/or really saggy balls.

Ya lot of it is confidence as well. Older guys go for the easy, young chicks because thats all they are comfortable with. Hitting on young, impressionable, and immature high school girls is easy!

You, like a lot of other people in the world want a challenge. Why go for the easy one when you get more satisfaction from pushing yourself and getting the goal?

Some others, however, want the easy option. Why go out, have fun and look for the right guy when they can place an ad and meet a guy who fits their description? Much easier. Then they can benefit from the emotional and financial stability. And possibly go out and fuck someone younger. That way they get the best of both worlds.

You're 18. You have absolutely nothing to contribute to a mature 26 year olds life. Wow, you can have conversations? About what, your high school? People's maturity varies, but if a 26 finds he best communicates with an 18 year old, how does nobody see him as immature?

I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 19.

You're 18. You have absolutely nothing to contribute to a mature 26 year olds life other than sex. Wow, you can have conversations? About what, your high school? People's maturity varies, but if a 26 finds he best communicates with an 18 year old, how does nobody see him as immature?

Fixed.

And that's really all it comes down to. Why does society have such a hard time embracing this concept? It is simply our nature, the way we are. Why we try so hard to repress our nature is beyond me.

In layman's terms:

1) Males primarily seek health and reproductive potential in a mate, traits which are reflected in qualities such as beauty, fitness, mental health and so on.

2) Females seek a mate who they believe can offer them security and stability (reflected in a high social-economic status).

3) Finally, when faced with a problem or obstacle, most living beings will choose to walk the path of least resistance.

With these three premises in mind, the conclusion should be easy to understand.

The 26 years old male walks the path of least resistance by picking up the easily impressionable 18 years old girl to satisfy his sexual needs. The 18 years old girl picks the older guy so he can provide for her. Simple. How well the mate they've chosen fulfills their needs determines not only their mate's worth but their own worth as well. You'll almost never see an ugly girl walking hand in hand with a rich guy, and you'll only occasionally see a guy who is low in the social pecking order dating a hot girl, and there's a reason for that. Opposites do not attract. However, as I said, there are exceptions. Occasionally, a guy will be able to date out of his league. How come?

Because perception is reality, and some people, men especially, have mastered the art of pretending they are everything a girl is looking for. However, unless these men eventually "become the part" as opposed to "continue acting the part", these relationships don't usually last very long. For a natural pickup artist, most women are easily duped at first, but keeping up the lie for a lifetime is nearly impossible. Nevertheless, you can call it the silver lining in the clouds for every man out there. While an ugly girl is pretty much doomed from the start, ANY guy can make himself attractive by building his social-economic status. It is a small, but not so insignificant advantage men have in the all too female dominated game that is dating in these modern times (one of countless reasons why anything to do with "women's equality" is complete bullshit, but that's for another topic).

As for those who opt for the challenge as opposed to the easy target, that's really because getting sex isn't much of a problem for you in the first place isn't it? You're experienced in the art of attraction and you understand that pussy is an absolutely worthless commodity that grows on trees. You don't need to walk the path of least resistance because most paths offer little to no resistance anyway. You've had enough sex to fulfill your needs and you know that you've got all the tools, not only to tackle the high quality challenge, but to find sex from another source should you fail in your quest. You can afford to try. Most men can't. You've got the tools to succeed. Most men don't.

Did I say he best communicates with me? No, I don't think I did. Nor did I say that I had anything to contribute to his life.
Just because there's a fucking age difference doesn't mean that we can't have conversations and enjoy eachother's company.
