How do you feel about glass pipes? The only drug paraphernalia I really have right now is a glass pipe, a lightbulb vaporizer, and some rolling papers (and weed of course) :).

One question: I have around 50 dollars to spend and am gonna make my trip to a moderately large headshop. What should I buy there to expand my "weed smoking ventures"?

Depends on how good the prices are, but I agree with the steamroller. Around me they have acrylic zig-zag or rake steamrollers for less than $50, and I've recently become fond of these (although a real glass one is better, of course).

I found this nice indian smokeshop down the street from my community college. First thing he said was "Nobody beats my prices!" Two other friends and I bought 3 pipes each for $12.99. I'll take a picture later if people are interested. I've asked people that smoked out of my pipe how much they thought it cost and its usually 20-40 dollars.

The Korean up the street from me charges double or triple for some of the same pipes. They are made up of a combination of glass/pyrex. I want to sell mine because it doesn't change that many colors, but it has a huge air tunnel that's a dream to scrape.

If you want to invest 50 bucks, take your time and look around, for whatever you wanna buy. Keep in mind that you want something that is thick and will at least survive a drop or two on hard surfaces. If you're looking for a home smoking piece, go for a bong or steamroller.

If you can find a bubbler I would highly recommend one.
