Smoked half of it, awesome weed compared to what it usually is...However, I'm used to buying a 1/8 from 40 to 60 bucks back home of good weed...This kid is doing it to everyone, so it isn't just me but still, this seems like he's charging way too much...

I don't know the prices everywhere else, but here (Denver, Colorado) a half 1/8, for the good stuff, is anywhere from 20 to 30 dollars. 30 dollars for 1 gram seems extreme to me. I don't think I'd pay that much for 1 gram no matter how good the product.
I'm satisfied with the 1.75 grams I get for 30 dollars.

$20 / g is the maximum any one should EVER pay. You are most certainly getting ripped off paying 30 a g. The person who sold it to you is laughing his ass to the bank right now. The average price for an OZ of the highest quality weed is $400~. He is getting ridiculous profits by finding morons who would pay $30 a g.

I call bullshit, in Canada you can get great dope (Kush, Super Silver Haze, White widow, etc.) for $12-15/gram in most big cities, $10-$12 in Vancouver. Most Canadians just don't have a legit connection for headies, they're hard to find outside of Vancouver, so a dealer either won't name a strain and charge $10 or make up some bullshit strain on the spot and still charge $10.

Around here, chron is 50 or 60 usually (midwest us), so 20/g isn't outrageous for kind bud. Then, if you consider that you are purchasing a very small amount of weed, it makes sense he charges you more for that. more deals = better chance of being caught. Also, there's probably a convenience charge for breaking his eigths. Or, maybe he's just charging what the market will handle?
