Thinking about changing my name.
Hi, first off, I want to say sorry if this is in the wrong forum. If the mods feel it is necessary, please move it to the appropriate area.
My name is Nick. I'm a little more than half Italian, and I want to show it more. I'm thinking about changing my name to Niko. (nee-koe). Anyway, I want to know if this sounds more Latino than Italian.
Thanks.

Re: Thinking about changing my name.
lol Grand Theft Auto.
But yeah so you just want to change your first name?
I think it would be easier to just tell people to call you by your new name and sign all your documents with your real name instead of going through a long name change process.
I googled and it seems Niko is a Finnish/Slavic name.
Here's a link that might help: http://tinyurl.com/u3mg

Re: Thinking about changing my name.
Why not just introduce yourself as Niko and save yourself the hassle of having it legally changed?

Re: Thinking about changing my name.
I'm not going to have it legally changed, I'll just tell everyone to call me it.
Anyway, do you think this is a feasible Italian name?

Re: Thinking about changing my name.
Off the top of my head i wouldn't know where to send this. Probably SG but thats overun with the HBtards at the moment and I don't think RI covers names (does it?).
So far as I'm concerned it can stay, unless any of my fellow mods feel different.

If you're gonna change your name, I don't see why you would change it to anything but Damien Frost.

Re: Thinking about changing my name.
Do you even look Italian though?
I'm half Italian, but the I definitely look 100% Irish.... my parents almost considered naming me Antonio after my grandfather, and it would have been stupid considering I don't look it at all.

Re: Thinking about changing my name.
You're a "little more than a half" italian? So you're basically...fuck all Italian? Why the fuck would you want to show it in your name? This infuriates me. You just want to be Niko so girls are like "omg! niko what a cooool name! where are you from?!" Then you'll be all "I'm italian baby!".
Fine, I'm going to get people to call me Helmut Heinrich von Gustav from now on (which are all either my or my father's names). Go gel your hair, put on your leather jacket, follow women around like a rapist yelling bella then go fuck your self.

Dude, names are important. For instance say you've got two guys, both with similar looks, ability, personality, and so forth.
One is named "Otis Oberdweebenstubin". The other is "Victor Steel".
Which one is more likely to reel in the pussy?

His name is nick. Hardly gay. But I wont derail this thread any further, except by saying it has to be the most try hard, faggoty thing to change one's name to seem more italian, when this guy is fuck all italian.

Friends of mine have named their first born son "Spike". ...as a name not a nick name.
He is so gonna thank them later in life..
---------
*15 Years Later*
Her: "so what's your name?"
Him: "Spike. I'm serious -thats my real name"
Her: "okay,Why did they call you that?"
Him: "cos on the day I was born, the nurses all gathered round, and gazed in wide eyed wonder at the joy they had found"
---------
And yes , names are important. Not for the effect they have on women but for the effect they have on you! Call a man "tiger" and he'll probably pull more girls. Mainly because he'll walk taller, y'know?
