Default Trading in a Rifle - Need Some Help

Alright. About a year ago I bought a Remington 710 in 7mm Rem Mag. I was going to use it as a deer rifle, but due to certain changes that have come about, I won't be going deer hunting for a few years at least.

I've decided that rather than storing it in the attic for a few years, I may as well trade it in. I've only put about 40 rounds through it (just enough to get it sighted in and have a little fun at the range). Anyways, I was debating picking up either an SU-16 or a Mini-14 with the cash I get for the Remington.

About how much am I looking to get from it? Keep in mind it's in immaculate condition, I clean it about 3 times a year, and it was properly stored with the appropriate oiling. One more thing, would it be better to post it on Gunbroker.com and try and ship it out through an FFL or should I just take it to my local store?

Thanks in advance.

See if your local firearms dealer will list it on gunbroker for you and take a commission.

You might be able get a buyer who uses an FFL that will accept shipping from an individual. This would save you money on the trade.

Or just take it to the "local firearms dealer" (right next to the local medicine man's teepee) and make a deal for him OBO, why would you want to go through the hassle of waiting for someone to fax an FFL in, unless you're like one of these idiots and you've never done it before.

I know right, maybe when I head up that way so that we can do some long range shooting together we should invite him over so as to fill that vacuous hole in our skull where our brains should be. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

What is it with you and these homosexual tendencies? First you want to "head up" so you can do some "long range shooting" with him and now you want to invite me along to skullfuck the both of you? You're a sick fuck. You got too many lollipops when you were kid boy.

OK guys, I know you have a problem with me pretending to be a forty-two year old concrete mixer who sexually molests his children; but please understand that Random_Looney can't do a thing he is only a moderator. So when you go around saying "you're gonna get your ass kicked" you only look like that much more of an assclown. Thanks for listening.

LMFAO, your post still stands? It was an irrelevant post from the fucking get-go, it is obvious that I have been baiting for responses all morning what the fuck was your point dumbass? That a year-long regular of these forums could have been a little more "helpful" than someone who registered a day ago? Shut the fuck up already, I'm tired of your whiny ass.

You're hijacking the thread, for you have just as much freedom to reply to my posts as you do to ignore them. The fact that you replied to them after you already got a confirmation for your feeble ass mind that I was baiting for responses is a little hilarious. Judging by how many times you've edited that post, and it's ridiculous nature, it is safe to say that the only one full of angst and anger here is you.

If you did not have a problem, you would not post. Editing your posts ten times over won't make them any less gay. And, believe it or not, that hi-point thing maybe (just maybe) had been said to bait answers, and that it may not be my actual opinion. It baffles me that you have not only failed to realize this the first time around, but have continued to mention it in your obvious incapability to engage in critical thought.

Obviously not, lest you would have added something conclusive to the argument that I have a problem with the world not something I conceived for the purpose of baiting people online. Perhaps it is because people throw the word "troll" around so much that is has no meaning, nor is given any thought anymore. I assure you there is no reason to continue adding such trite, insignificant bullshit to your posts; for people will always interpret your words as nothing more than the musings of a retarded jackass. Nothing that comes from within you will enrich the content of your posts.

God your a genius.

It must be a burden to know everything.

Do you seriously sit on here all day and 'bait people" for the lulz. someone seriously needs a life or atleast a couple friends to bother. You may want to find another forum as this one is not very active. Try ar15.com so they can tear you a new one.

My editing had nothing to do with what you said idiot it was just because I wanted to add something without making another post. Editing my threads to add something is something i do often and has nothing to do with you.
Because i said what i needed and it was directed towards you and you read them so there was no need for them to take up the space of this thread.

Shit atleast i have a life besides "baiting people" for the LuLz all day long. get out and go for a walk or something fatty, you definetly have some kind of issue that makes you hide behind the interwebs.

Thank you. I have a feeling your in a forgetful mood(wink)! it is one thing to troll and "bait people," but it is a different story when they sit there and admit it. I know I wasn't helping that is why I deleted all my posts directed towards him.

I bet you just ruined his life. The kid needs to get a life, a job, or something, these troll losers are rediculus.

It's only a ten day one. I could have made it worse, but he does have his moments. I think the funniest part is the whole "actually, I can do something" part about it.
