Don't bite to draw blood. Lapping up the blood is perfectly fine, but don't go deep into the wound with your tongue. That is the easiest way to get the wound infected. Like previously stated, new razor blades or needle tips work exceptionally well to draw blood just be careful not to cut too deep or pierce anything but skin with the needles.

Any place is fine if you know what you are doing and don't mind scars. I have a few left on my neck, arms, and chest from a razor blade and countless little scabs from those needle points.

If you fuck up or even think you've fucked up, make a mention of it and if you both agree that you fucked up, then go get help immediately. Disease is one of them, but if you're in a commited relationship and don't sleep around it holds the same risks as unprotected sex. Choosing where to cut is important, avoid places that have large arteries obviously. Also use a new blade for each new cut, make sure it is cleaned, and the wound is cleaned and dressed afterwards.
