i shot up and i missed my vein so obviously it poped. now(1 week later) there is a bump and it is sort of throbing. it becomes inflamed from time to time but it hasnt got any worse. i dont want to go to the doctors yet (until the track marks clear up) so my question is basic. has this ever happend to you, and how long did it last?

Yeah that's happened to me a few times. You never said WHAT exactly it is you're shooting though, that would help. Cocaine is toxic to the muscle I'm pretty sure so it'll leave a big old bruise for around a week or so. And it hurts like a motherfucking bitch for like 2 sometimes 3 days, I've never missed when shooting H so I don't know what it does to the muscle, try googling it.

Honestly though man I don't think going to the doctor would be worth it. It'll go away just give it a few more days.
