I'm in my senior year of english currently, and earlier this year we had to do a research paper. I did mine on the effects of LSD on the human brain and senses. So today we were given a new project (read a book) and my teacher gave me a copy of Go Ask Alice and said I'd probably like it. So I guess this is the topic where I discuss my random school assignments about drugs. Someone else has probably done this before anyway though, so share it if you did.

There's a part in that book where the author smokes some meth. The book itself, I've never read personally, but sounds really sad. My girlfriend has read it. Sucks.

I typed my final draft for my paper on LSD while being pleasently stoned. The only thing my teacher said was I didn't focus on the negative aspects enough.

I'm doing a research paper for law right now where I'm arguing for the removal of prohibition laws in Canada for all drugs on the grounds that prohibition is ineffective. Didn't get it assigned, but it's a great topic to pick for highschool research essays if you ever want something interesting to write about, loads of info on the subject too.

Go Ask Alice was total shit, propaganda disguised as something you'd actually want to read. Even if it's actually some dumb bitches diary, it's like the DARE workbook for highschool. I remember my senior year we read it in this literature class I was taking and I would always raise my hand and comment on what a fucking idiot she was and how the drugs weren't at all the cause of her problems, they were just one of several methods of self destruction, which was rooted in pretty generic teenage psychological issues. I don't understand why some people seem to like it so much.
