to eat mushrooms? or what do you think is the best way? recently i tried grinding them all up into powder and putting the powder into yogurt (it was strawberry yogurt with little blueberries in it) and it was great, I coulnt taste a thing and i was trippen out within a half hour

I've used your method. Works well.

It also works for seeds [mg, hbwr, datura if you wish].

Edit - Tea is good too, though I prefer making it when I have fresh mushrooms.

I've taken them chopped up into powder and then with a shot of lemon juice, that method works pretty damn well if you ask me.

Most of the time though, I just stick them on top of a chocolate bar and munch down. And of course, on pizza.

Put them in my mouth and eat them. They are an acquired taste but they start to taste good once you get used to it. I also make tea (Kool-Aid) if I got time but I usually just eat them right out of the field. I've never had any dried though, only fresh caps.

The best way i've done it is grind them up and put them into powerade. But you have to drink it quickly before it starts to smell like nasty wet mushroom. I started feeling some distortion within 20 minutes and had a very intense, but amazing peak :p

My favorite way is to just break them up in the bag and chew em. I've ground them into a powder with a coffee grinder before, and mixed it with oj. That method seems like it sets me up for a bad trip tho, the come up is so fast it reminds me of snorting PEA's.

Yeah I know what you mean I always come up so quick and intensely when I do that, sometimes too intense.

I like grinding them up and snorting them personally. Sometimes I don't even grind them up I just push a whole eighth up a nostril.

Fresh is best. Cubensis is gourmet to me.

yeah tea works well, maybe slightly less potent than eat them, but eliminates the horrible taste and texture of chewing them.

I like to eat smaller pieces of stems and whole caps with a Hershey's kiss each time, kinda slowly. Like, an eighth over the course of 30-45 min. I prefer a slower come-up from mushrooms, just personal preference.

Noob question, having never done shrooms, I was wondering if you only eat the cap, or if you eat the stem as well?


And, is there a difference in potency between wet and dry mushrooms?

5 grams for $70? Somebody is ripping you off dude. I don't know where you live, but I've never seen shrooms cost even close to that much. $35 for a quarter is the average price I buy them for.

I just chew them for a half hour and then swallow. Oddly enough, I dont mind the taste much, which is strange, because I despise eating non-psychoactive mushrooms in a normal meal.

I've always wanted to try the chocolates for some reason, but then I remember that I hate mushrooms more than anything, and save my money.

Thats why I don't do shrooms much, especially when I can get acid at $5 a hit, if not free.

Well when I can FIND mushrooms I get a few doses worth, grind it ALL up, and then split it all into the proper doses and store it. Grinding them helps create a more standardized mixture. Especially when you buy a bag and you get one MASSIVE cap and stem, and then some random much smaller parts.

I haven't had mushrooms in like two years.


Oh, and I prefer to mix them in a small chocolate shake. I despise the taste of all mushrooms in general, and this way I can't even tell. It's like a shake with some random bits of tasteless nothing it it.

Unfortunately my supplier got pwned. Pwned fucking hard. Big hippy, only sells to VERY VERY good friends, and only sells bulk, as in, at least a QP. So after several years of this, some fucking ASSHOLE somehow got himself in trouble, and felt it was ok to not only turn in my friend, but the fucking cunt wore a camera into his house, and purchased several pounds of mushrooms.


Ever since then, this entire city has been pretty much dry on shrooms. Of course they are still around, but not in the quanities before, and it is MUCH harder to hunt them down.
