Having never done either of these chemicals I need a way to compare them. Erowid is very unhelpful in this situation.

How is the emotional state similar/ different?
How is the euphoria similar/ different?
How are your senses affected?

Any info on this would be appreciated, I can't check for myself as I am currently taking a MAOI as part of a study.

Are you kidding? You can't compare of effects of these chemicals. MDMA is emotionally stimulating with a touch of psychedelic, whereas the 2c's are like being on another level. Why am I bumping this?

The hell?!?!?!

1. Euphoria is made up entirely of one's emotions.

2. Empathogens affect the emotions positively but do not alter the senses.

3. Hallucinogens alter the senses, but do not introduce or alter emotions aside from possibly magnifying them.

I tried it last friday. I took four hits of 2C-I and then went to school dressed as a hippy on halloween. It's not like MDMA although it did make me into a smooth talker and a little horny. It's more like acid. On the other hand I did take a shitload. The comedowns fucking suck.

strange, I've heard the comedown is easier than MDMA.
Maybe it is dose dependent.

I've never had a problem with 2C-I comedown, with some doses in the 35mg+ range. If anything, after it wore off it left a pretty nice after glow.

They're nothing alike to me at all. MDMA is entirely a more high-energy and social drug to me. 2C-I is more of a "trip" where as it fucks with your thoughts, perceptions, visuals, etc. where to me MDMA is more just euphoria with mild "trip" aspects to it.

It was kind of a crazy trip for me actually. I wound up watching a movie at a movie theater on it...which was a strange experience. I got really into the movie. But the drug was fucking with my emotions and feelings a lot for some reason.

And after the movie I took more and went home. I was tripping balls when all of a sudden my mom started screaming...and I go see what she's screaming about and my entire backyard was on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me, her, and our neighbors put it out before the fire department got there. So yeah that was interesting...
