Philosophies of Rec. Drug use
Alright so in another thread, I mentioned something about my own experience with depression/anxiety and not actually obtaining any scripts except for bullshit ones that don't really work. Then the idea that you can (sometimes) just go into a doctor's office, say, "Can I have some benzos for my anxiety?" and they'll throw a shitload of scripts at you.
And so I guess the question is, do you think that prescriptions should be so frequently given unnecessarily to the wrong people? And then should we exploit that flaw in the pharmaceutical system? We all liked to get fucked up, but is it really fair to the people that do need those drugs but can't get 'em because people abuse 'em too much?
I realize this is pretty long and probably not very clear, but Before The Opiate said it was an interesting idea (or however he put it). And finally, last question, should people really be able to go out and buy whatever drugs they want OTC? Or is society right for not allowing us to put our hands in the cookie jar?

Re: Philosophies of Rec. Drug use
I hate people who think they know what's best for you. Let people do all the drugs they want, if the government is supposed to nanny us then why don't the cops come and wipe my ass every time I shit?
