Would you date your second cousin?
Would you date your second cousin. If you aren't familiar this means that your grandparents are brother and sister.

I live in Norfolk, sleeping with your sister is normal here, and we marry our cousins cos that keeps the DNA in the family.

Yeah I'd probably screw her, but she'd have to be pretty cool to date her.

I might, but I'd get odd looks at family reunions.
I'd fuck her though.

You make a good point.
I have quite a few second cousins that I know pretty well and one of them is fucking gorgeous. I won't lie, she's much sexier than probably 95% of the girls at my school. I'll stop at that otherwise I'll start to feel really awkward but if I got the chance I'd fuck the shit out of her. I think she's like 2 or 3 years older than me and I'm 18.
Wow. I just randomly remembered this one time at a sort of family reunion thing about 3 or 4 years ago I met like a third cousin or something like that and for just that one week I knew her we had a thing for each other and we never left each others sight the whole week. We were at a hotel so we would go in the hot tub together and like... do the type of shit 14 yr olds do sexually. Now that I look back on it I find it very strange.

Re: Would you date your second cousin?
The funny thing is, it's actually not strange at all to marry a cousin. 80% of the marriages that have been performed worldwide have been between cousins, and that's a fact. Technically, marrying a complete stranger, with completely different values, culture, etc, is actually weird. Apparently genetic defects occur about 1-2% of the time between strangers, and only 3-4% of the time with cousins. The risk is considerably low even with first cousins. Once you get to second cousins, or first cousins once removed, the risk goes back down to 1-2%. Some studies are showing findings that cousins seem to have the lowest rates of miscarriages, and their babies are less likely to reject their mother's blood type and milk. Technically every single person in the world is no further away than 50th cousin, so we're all cousins, it's just how many degrees away we are from each other.
And yes, my second cousin is actually very hot, and we get along with each other extremely well, much better than strangers. Also, my family wouldn't think anything of this because we come from nobility, where this practice is considered pretty normal for thousands of years. Our parents introduced us to each other, cause from stories, we're two peas in a pod, lol. When I chatted with her the other day, we seemed to think exactly the same, and we intellectually click, which is a rare find for me. We even have the exact same ideals of how a relationship should be too. Keep in mind I didn't know her until she was seventeen. Really, wouldn't you want to marry someone who's more likely to be similar to you than a stranger who you'll probably have frictions with. Marrying not to far out of your family tree actually makes more sense, and only recent culture has deemed it weird, without any good justifying reasons. Mainly this is due to literature about eugenics back in the early part of the 20th century that have seem to have stuck with us. In Canada, you're allowed to marry your first cousin.
My conclusion, I think I might take her out and see where things may go.

Are you trying to persuade us, or yourself that its not fucked up.
Frankly, i think you dont have enough interaction with women (i wont even say beautiful women), that when you meet a pretty girl(who happens to be your cousin) you forget about regular human interaction and start thinking about your dick.
God you are pathetic.

Source? There's no way I'll believe that off of a post on totse.
