Last night at a rave I took a small, blue pill, with the nike swoosh imprinted upon the back. It had a few white specks at the top of the pill, but besides that, that was it.

I took it with a bottle of water, assuming that it was ecstasy (going to be my first time.) After a while, the lights got more interesting and I felt a small burst of energy. I started chewing on a mint gum, but it tasted a little more intense, not the amazing taste I was told to expect. The mint flavor hitting my eyes through my mask, made my eyes tingle slightly. I swallowed my gum on accident and my stomach began to cramp. I felt full of energy and all I wanted to do was dance. I noticed things more than I normally would, like glasses on the floor, lightsticks on the ground, and people looking sick. I danced harder and longer than my sober friends, but got worn out after about 3 hours after my pill. However after about 3 or 4 hours I felt fine, not the come down I expected. Just a little tired. I danced for a few more hours and then went home. I ate a burger with a little difficulty through slight nausea, and then went to sleep without a problem... I will also mention, a very annoying tight pain where my sternum is located, much like a cramp, except more painful, and it lasted all night.

In addition to these effects throughout the night I felt rather hot, but I enjoyed the heat, I wanted to dance harder to sweat more. I felt very overheated, but not to an excessive point. I also consumed about 4-5 bottles of water from the hours of..9pm - 2am.

This morning, around 1 pm I feel tired, but not overly tired, I possess no after glow, and I feel tired, but fine.

My question to you totseans, is the following, was the pill I took ecstasy, or was it just caffeine or ephedrine?

Sounds like an average MDMA/speed pill.

The lack of a comedown and easy to sleep would make me believe it's pretty clean.

If you have pills, you want to at least double drop.

Oh and if it helps at all, my friend says I was "gaping" at things the entire night, jaw dropped spacing out while looking at stuff. And my pupils were diluted for about 3 hours after dropping.

Not to be a buzz kill, but generally if you have to ask if you got high you probably didn't. Especially with E, you shouldn't have a problem knowing you're high. My first time on E I was talking to a friend while he was on a swing, then all of a sudden he stood still and the scenery behind him was swinging and glowing. Not to mention the feeling of being high and euphoric.

Pills don't tend to be all that strong and you never know how much or what your actually taking. Next time just take more, then you will know about it!

What you said sounds like a low dose of clean MDMA.

Haha sorry, ALL of you have been very helpful and I appreciate all the quick responses! So yah, I definitely felt something, and it was different than ephedrine and caffeine, more shiny lights and just happiness and dancing. I just wanted to be sure. Definitely taking more next time! One was fun, but not what I expected! =D

Get a test kit and test your pills. Then you won't have to guess you will know if your pill contains MDMA/meth/etc. Won't know how much, but at least you will know what is in it.

Dancesafe.org has Marquis, Mecke, and Simon's reagents(http://www.dancesafe.org/testingkits/). Stupid Noob sells Marquis and Ehrlich reagents(http://beesafe.goshopper.net/).

For testing E if you were only going to get one kit Mecke is probably the best. Marquis has the ability to test a variety of compounds, simon's is for distinguishing MDMA and meth from MDA and amphetamine(not useful unless you already have a marquis or mecke). Ehrlich tests for ergot alkaloids(acid), unrelated to this thread but thought I'd mention it anyway.
