Give her shit-tons of exercise. Trust me, I raised a quarter wolf hybrid.

Word on the exercise. I've also heard they're MUCH harder than dogs to break and house train, as they're very independent, etc.
And uh.. don't tell the vet s/he's a hybrid. Well, I guess it depends what state you're in.

Re: about to buy a wolf hybrid
Wow, sounds like you've really prepared well for having a wildish animal in your house. You should have done your research, and KNOW everything there is to know about hybrids before now. They aint like other dogs. Good luck...

Re: about to buy a wolf hybrid
Gorgeous dog. I'd recommend having some type of kennel, or just a smallish fenced in area outside to let him roam.

If the vet can't tell a wolf from a dog, maybe you should be going to a different vet? I'm no expert on dog or wolves, but even I, without my glasses, can tell the difference..

Re: about to buy a wolf hybrid
Make sure you assert your dominance in every way possible. Don't allow him to do anything that you do not like, even just once. Always win stare downs and don't allow him to put his paws on you. If you assert your dominance he will naturally accept you as the alpha-male and become part of the pack, albeit reluctantly. Remember, he will always test you to see if he is the better man, don't let him think he is the alpha-male.
Be sure to purchase all the necessary preventative medications (heartguard, frontline, etc.) to maximize your dog's life.
