I'm picking some up tomorrow and planned on taking 1/8 tomorrow night when I got home. I tried an 1/8 over the summer but only got a body high and euphoria before I threw up, I didn't trip at all.

Honestly just because of the way I am, I think I would have a better time if I was by myself, but I can only assume that by things I've read /heard and thinking that a sitter, even if they were tripping too, would make me feel uneasy about the whole thing. I planned on listening to music for a good amount of time, watching some videos online, doing a ton of introspective thinking and maybe walking around my neighborhood when the sun begins to come up.

I'm just concerned because I know what I'm getting this time will be quality and I'm not going to eat 6 hours prior to taking them so I fully expect to trip, I'm just not sure if being by myself for the first time would be a good idea or not.

well youve had the body high before so thats half of the things that could throw you. if you know yourself well enough to truely think that you will have more fun alone then go for it. i did 1/4 by myself in a camp ground and it was absolutely amazing. if you have a bad trip it will suck way hard, things liek that are hell when one is alone.

I normally don't trip alone it can be depressing. You should try sport tripping, i played bball for six hours through a thunder and lighting storm that flooded the court it was an amazing experience, eat a gram or so every hour and do shit, hacky sack for instance, you wont be any good but its amazing.

I don't think it's a bad idea in that you'll have a bad trip, but my first trip i became extremely euphoric thinking about life and how exciting the future was, and i looked at my friends in a new light and really enjoyed their company.. it's not like you can't be introspective with your friends.. there are alot of things you realize which you don't want to say.. and some you can't say.. but if you're shrooming with good friends they will let you zone out and feel it.

when i got home that night i was kind of depressed, not peaking but definitely still tripping quite a bit, but i felt like i had a void in my heart from being alone or something and it was pretty epically sad. so i would just do it with friends, jesus.

Save them for a concert. Save them for a concert or something else thats bigger than just sitting in your room. You only have one time to live, and only one time to have your first trip. Do it right. Dont lock yourself in a room. Open the doors for something that you will remember for the rest of your life.

You'll soon find planning is completely irrelevant and a waste of time. All the activities you do on mushrooms should be spontaneous and unrestricted if you want to trip to the fullest extent.

Just think positive. You're gonna have a great trip. Don't think about bad trips, but don't force it: just chill. If you're a stoner make sure you have enough weed to last you, or cigs if that's your thing. If you're thinking introspectively, make sure you've got some paper to write/draw, that can be fun. Make sure you've got some nice, happy, trippy music. Make sure you're in a vaugely stable frame of mind. And most importantly of all ------------->make sure you have an amazing trip. ;) Say hi to awesome land from me.

Same thing here...i did them alone at home, with my parents home. Ate 3gs initially, then said fuck it munched the rest of my stash, which was around 8 grams.. Only reason i did so is cause i had backup(bunch of klonopins) so that was my safety net so to speak.

I even went out to talk to my parents a bit, just very brief though.

On your own is fine, in fact i'd prefer it. Benzos aren't bad to have on hand either if things go a bit bad :)

Yeah I knew it was a bad idea to eat them after I had just eaten but I was too anxious to try it and that was the only night I had open that week.

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure about taking it with other people because the people I would do it with I don't really know that well (moved a couple months ago). I just wasn't sure if it would make me say anything I would regret because my private thoughts are cynical in nature and always focused on the worst traits in others, thats actually something I'd really hope mushrooms could help me change. My goal is to try and alter my personality for the better as much as I can, thats part of the reason why I thought doing it by myself would be good.

I'm most likely going to take them with 4 other people tomorrow night instead. I picked up for them and they asked if I wanted to trip with them I would feel like a dick saying no, plus everybody will throw in bud and we have a good house to do it at... two of them are pretty experienced so I think everything will work out great.

tripping alone and tripping with other people are both fun in their own ways.

alone - you can think about yourself, do absolutely whatever YOU want to do, etc

with others - you can have nice conversations, they can act as a catalyst for your introspective thinking, you have a friend :), you normally have more "fun" and less of the self thinking, etc.

anyway, it depends on my mood, if im in the mood for having fun and doing cool stuff, ill ask a friend, but if im kinda tired and want to have a more meaningful trip, by myself.
