If their plan is to bring in martial law, eliminate 80% of population and enslave us (more than we are now) how come they haven't done it already? They could easily do it right now but their obviously not... They will be more subtle changes to work up to that. For instance the American Union and various other Free Trade Agreements. There are signs right now though, the Trans-Texas Corridor is being built, FEMA has started making alleged civilian detainment camps, the chem trails everywhere, rapid and extensive militarization, and various other changes. The point is the vast majority of the public won't see it coming until it is far far too late.

They really couldn't do it right now because the world's peoples are on much higher alert, and much more informed than they were, say 10 years ago.

Regarding wealth; They really don't need it simply because they control it, and money really is worthless in this world. Think about it if they didn't tell us it had worth would it be worth anything?

There's also different ideas about what constitutes the "new world order." you seem to be referencing Alex Jones' idea of the situation, which, while he is certainly a vocal critic of political changes leading to the alleged nwo, is not the definitive authority on the subject.
