Default Enough to get a teacher in trouble?

There is a teacher at my school that is constantly going out of his way to make people hate me. It never works, but it's incredibly annoying. He constantly calls me stupid in front of people, an idiot, and random swear words. This is somewhat of a big deal, because in my school in Kaysville, UT, %95 of the students are L.D.S.

Almost every day this teacher will talk about something he read out of the bible. He always subtlety hints about sinning, not being ready for the "last days," and quotes scripture. Often, before a performance, he has our band say a prayer before we go on stage.

Is this enough to at least get him in trouble? He recently kicked me out of every class he taught with me in it, which is about three. This early in the school year it has somewhat screwed me over. He has also gone around to several of the people who I hang out, who are also in his class. He has 'advised' them to no longer hang out with me, and one of my friends said he compared me to Satan. I have no interest in being in his class again, but what would you do?

Talk to your guidance counselor about it.

This. Get some hardcore proof. Then it might be good to discuss the problems with the teacher first, just so he can't claim ignorance if it escalates later. Then if you want to talk to the principal because it's not resolved, I would. I don't think he would necessarily get in trouble per say, but maybe he'd cool it after you've spoken to him and then spoken to the principal. But I dunno, there's no horrible harassment going on here, so I can't see any disciplinary action being taken.

You go to a public school, right? And you're not mormon?

I'm not morman. The tape recorder idea will probably not work anymore, because there is no way i'll be getting into his class after this. Should have thought of that before.

I didn't think it would be enough, but I had to ask. This guy is seriously pissing me off. The drumline plays for Utah Jazz games, and this year we all got special warm-up pants. I'm not allowed to go anymore, so I let my friend borrow my pants. Now my teacher is telling my friend to not give me my pants back. Those pants were comfortable. Fuck.

It's highschool - not the fucking white house. How exactly - can you NOT put a tape recorder in your pocket, and take it into your class room!?

Record as much dirt from him as you can get before you turn it in. You might get something good :)
