So I saw this girl at a gig; thought she seemed cool - then added her on myspace saying I recognised her. A couple of days later we met up and I instantly liked her. The most I've liked a girl since I met my "first".

That was Saturday, then we saw eachother on Tuesday too. I really enjoy her company and would like to get with her. We seemed to be getting really close Tuesday; like walking huddled up so close we'd bump, hugging for warmth, her hands in my pockets, Leaning our heads on eachother.. I doubt it was intentional; but it all seemed close.

However, its not all good...

1)Her brothers selling weed + shrooms from his bedroom. I'm cool with that; hell I could probably buy some stuff from him - its just I've mentioned I'm related to a Police Officer... that may cause a bit of a problem.

2)Related to the above. My friends are all quite respectable, grammar educated etc. [Not arrogant as such; our grammar was shit - but OTHER people see it as quite good] She's related to "pikeys", "gypsys" and she's very poor. Her uncle can hardly walk because of a past heroine addiction. I couldn't care less about this - I dont want her family, and I'm sure they're lovely people! But would they really want to welcome *me* in? [Saying that, her brother has a "posh" girlfriend]

My composure and the way I talk seems to get alot of people thinking I'm either a) Gay; or b) Rich. Two things I doubt they'd really welcome in. Two things which are both REALLY wrong about me.

3)Tuesday it seemed awesome, I came home and she was on MSN we got chatting - stuff was normal. Then I had to nip out - but I left MSN on, when I came back 3 or 4 hours later I said "Oops, I left MSN on". Im not sure if she thought I was ignoring her; as we havent really spoken properly since!

She came on webcam to show me her new hair - she just dyed it, and I could see she was chatting to some random dude, joking about etc. Then she even invited me into a convo, with who I assume was this random dude, asking me what she's like In Real Life. Probably an "Internet Friend"; who was like "Ohh.. I'll remember that when I meet her". Which kinda weirded me out a bit.

4)She's still stuck on her ex. Her ex was, by all means, a total cnut to her. Treated her like shit. But love is love, and she isnt totally over him yet. I gave her advice about how I got over my ex (who Im JUST getting over - but thats for another thread), and she's followed it.

So she's cut him out her life completely, as he was just hurting her more. She's only mentioned him once since - which is a huge difference. But I'm still wondering if its too soon to "go for it". Like the longer I leave it; the more risky/the more I have to lose [friendship]. But if I rush it; it could be too soon.

The girl I'm about to get with is similar in the "ex" area. He was a dick, but she loved him. I've been talking to her for about 7 months now. And after this weekend it will probably be official.
At first I tried to rush it because I didn't want to lose her. We have gone through some rough times but it's all coming to fruition. Ride it out, go with the flow, don't force it.
