Smile N0ob

Hello!
I'm new and an avid mac user for about 2 years now.

I was wondering if anyone has any interest/comments on the new macbook/macbook pro's?
http://www.apple.com/ca/macbook/specs.html
I had my eye on the new macbook until I realized the lack of a firewire port, which is a big selling point for me. Looks like I'll be saving up for the pro

Any other opinions?

If I had money to burn, I would buy one of those.

2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo w/ 6MB Shared Cache
1066MHz FSB
4GB Memory
128GB SSD HD
Not 1 but two GPU's.

"The new MacBook Pro combines the efficiency of an integrated graphics processor with the desktop-class performance of a discrete graphics processor. That’s because it has both. Out of the box, it runs the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M processor, which provides plenty of performance for everyday use with up to 5 hours of battery life.* But when you need turbocharged performance for the most graphically intensive tasks, the discrete NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT processor delivers. And thanks to a new graphics architecture, it’s easy to switch between these two processors."
To tell you the truth, my Macbook does me good:
1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
667 FSB
3GB Memory
60GB 5200rpm HD
Intel 950 GMA GPU w/ 64MB Shared Memory (the only ).

Peace.

Jeebus, no shit. They're pretty ridiculous.
Right now I have the white macbook:
../r/n2.0%20ghz
2.5 GB DDR2 RAM
80 GB HDD
And the dirty intel gma graphics card.

I've got the white macbook that's just under the black one (only diff is hard disk space). I've got 150gb disk space, plus:

Code:
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
I've yet to run into a performance problem. I've owned since July and it's been worth every penny.

You have a 2.4 GHz white macbook?
Did you but it from the apple store?
I only saw the black ones available in 2.4

Kudos, they're the way to go.

Of course you could purchase a Mac if you so desired, but pehaps you should go to the Lord in prayer first.
