Concerning my Girlfriend
I have been in a relationship with my girlfriend for almost seven months now, and I have become immensly close with her over this time. I have also become very close with her mother as well, but she has recently killed herself, and I just found out today.
I'm 16 and shes 15, and this whole thing is very new to me, and I was wondering if any of you have experienced this kind of thing and have any advice as to how I should treat my girlfriend. I want to be there for her and comfort her as much as possible, but at the same time I don't want to drown her and make her feel worse cause she doesn't have her own space.
Does any one have any input and what I should/shouldn't do.
I obviously won't be pissed off that she will take things out on me (lashing out where she feels comfortable), but I'm sure there is more to this than that. I basically want to be a good boyfriend towards her in her time of need, but I'm not really sure how to do this, as this if my first time going through this, let alone helping someone else through it.
Any help?

Just give her room if she needs it, but make sure she knows you're there for her.
Don't smother her or try to help her if she doesn't want it. She probably won't feel like going out but the best thing for her is to try and get her mind off things and do something she enjoys.

Giving up on her isn't really an option for me at this point.

Re: Concerning my Girlfriend
I don't think you need to necessarily worry about "drowning" her. If you really were close to her mother as well, the fact that you have the smallest idea of what she is going through will more than likely show her that you are sincere when you comfort her. I couldn't even imagine what she is going through, but if I were her, I would probably cry a lot, so if she's doing that, just hold her and let her know you're there for her. She might not feel like talking just yet, but when she does, be patient and listen to her. And if she does lash out, just take and don't say anything negative, although I'm sure you are aware of that.
I'm terribly sorry for your girlfriend's (and your) loss.

OP you should give her room. Disappear for a while so she can be alone. Because we all know that it's when you're alone that you feel a lot better about things like you're mother killing herself.
Also, you may want to fake a suicide note saying that it was all your girlfriend's fault for not giving you enough head/sex.

Re: Concerning my Girlfriend
Just be there. Tell her if she needs anything call u at anytime, and you will be there. when you are with her just try to have a good time, maybe not sexually but just try to get her mind off of things if at all possible. If she cries, hold her. If she talks, listen. If she falls apart, put her back together. If i was in your shoes I would not even worry about the relationship you all have, I would try to just help her through this time of need no matter how she wants to go through it. Be positive, let her know you feel her pain, and that she isn't alone. Tell her that you will make things alright, but only do this if you can and will do it.
Very touchy subject, she might get pissy man.......have patience. If you hate your life just think of it as a shitty job, and think about how your relationship resume will look a lot better with "helping a girlfriend through family/mother's death"
I have never experienced death like this, If my mom or dad died I would crumble, and I haven't seen either of them in some time. mom has been over a year. Just do what you can brother.

Just leave her. You don't need that shit. Girls are emotional bags of annoyance.

Re: Concerning my Girlfriend
Anyone who dumps a girl for stupid shit is a fucking fagbagged retard.
Be a man, be there for her, and make her comfortable. You will be rewarded in the long run. When she is overwhelmed by the klowledge of how comforting and understanding you can be, she'll do anything for you in return.
Trust me, I have experience with this.
Although you are 16 and the probability of a successful relationship is low, give it your best shot.

Re: Concerning my Girlfriend
Wow, I'm really sorry. :(
Me also being a girl and being at that exact age, If I were to lose my mother right now I would completely lose it. No doubt that she will be crying, A LOT. Don't say much. Don't make it awkward by just sitting there and letting her cry. Hold her head in your chest and just keep telling her that your there for her, that your not going anywhere and that we can get through this, because that's what she's going to need to hear the most. Wipe her tears away and brush her hair out of her face while she's crying and just hold on to her tight. I can't even imagine what she's going through right now, but you sound like a good guy, and by you being there for her through this will make your relationship stronger. She's more than likely trying to figure out what she did wrong or why her mother decided to do this, she might even be feeling guilty or feel like she's somewhat responsible. No matter what, don't leave her, she needs you the most right now.

Re: Concerning my Girlfriend
Her relationship with her mother was not like many others, she was unusually close with her, they lived together just the two of them since her dad and her split up. Her mom also has a history with this kind of stuff, and she tried it once while I was there, and my girlfriend freaked out and froze up while I had to call the 911 and try to keep her mom awake until they got there (pill overdose), so I saved her once already, but she had to move back in with her dad, and her mom was left alone for a bunch of days, and I guess thats why she did it.
This, of course, no matter HOW MUCH I try to tell her its not, makes my girlfriend think that its all her fault for not being there for her mom.

My friend, you were right.
Shes completely fubar now, theres nothing anyone can do.
We broke up a month ago, but she wanted to remain close friends because it was just a "break", but shes already dating all sorts of other guys and treating me like the dirt under her shoe. And shes just absolutely nuts too.
